luhem
Didn’t want to start a new thread for jazz since there were a few floating around in channel 0 (this one has some good stuff in it already) . Hopefully there’s some other people who dig this music on here ~ Thanks for the assist @misteraven .

luhem
cant fuck with wes’ tone . strummed the string with the side of his thumb / he tried to practice quietly in order to not disturb his neighbors . worked as a machinist from 7am - 3am and then played from 9pm - 2am . More inspo ~
luhem
Probably the greatest Jazz easter egg was hidden here in the 4th movement of A Love Supreme - Coltrane's poem to God . People learned about this after he passed away , the handwritten poem is printed as liner notes for the album . He is playing the words to this poem . . . luhem
no problem ! @Fist 666i knew we had a jazz thread here , luckily our music subforum is only 3 pages deep . After scrolling up now I remember asking mr raven to help me with it never heard of mammal hands , definitely knew about Gogo penguin (blue note France) . diggin their avant-garde / experimental vibes . Video for the mammal hands track is sick ! check out stuff from Eric Dolphy & Ornette Coleman (specifically their work in the free jazz movement) imagine dropping a record on blue note . . I’ve listened to this plenty , but this morning was the first time this year . Cannonball’s intro makes sense now more than ever 1
