Gnes 37 Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 before turtles came out gijoes where my main shit. when the rubber band broke all you would have to do is get a small phillip screwdriver and open them apart and then give him a new rubber band. this kinda surgery led me to custom made soldiers with different heads body arms and legs. it was quite neat, the funny thing about the gi joe collection is that the older one like the first snake eyes was solid black and the part of the arm below his elbow could not turn meaning he couldnt turn his wrists like the later ones so that made him good for kung fu chopping since his arm could ony bend 90 degress cept for the pivotable shoulders man i do miss them i wished i kept them all. once they started turning neon it was their down fall i had both versions of sgt slaughter ther regular color and the bright blue green version they fucked it up from there... Damn I was only like 6 years old when that came out but I had my mom buy me all the movies for me and then I got some Jet that had a fighter hand that connected to the back so you could walk around and hold it and on the top their was a red button and another around the top finger and it would make sounds like it would shoot a missle, or machine gun, and if you dropped or raised altitude it would make a sound like Vrooms, was bad ass....
