These things always evolve bothways...if that actually works, there will be the 'new cd copier' software or hardware at no time.

God bless hackers

yeah, They're in a tight spot and they know that they have to invent new ways of trade, nothing works as it used to and we're looking at the reformation of capitalism....coming back with a vengeance

not directed at anyone , but i dont even fucking care at all , im going to get my free music whether the stupid record companies like it or not..........and as was said b4 , theres always going to be 'hackers' that are just going to create new software to crack whatever protections these companies put on.......

its kind of similar to when they shut down napster , yay what a victory .....how many p2p programs are there now , i can think of atleast 10 off the top of my head .....

until they complety police the internet , its not going to stop

how this for a bright future...

Once the record companies admit that they will never be able to

profit from selling recorded music, they make artists tour non-stop.

Ticket prices will be even more foolish, and you'll have to live with only

the memory of the concert.

live music as always can not be bought or sold, just experienced.

and I'm going to see the 30 piece 'Samba Squad' tonight !!:)

Imagine if the Record companies released acetate plates.

You pay 10 bucks and get to play the track 10 times,

(like the pay per play formula) but on vinyl.... eek

well before white labels are pressed i know a bunch of buddies who get the dub plates to use...i dont know if they still do that a lot.

but what a waste of resources if they ended up doing what zesto said, once youre done you toss this big chunk of acetate out? i wouldnt put it passed them!

dub plates and acetates are incredibly common,

but you could recycle the old chunks of plastic once they were done.

and dont even think about scratching or even cueing soft wax.
