Ryan Smith is on Zero. Look for a slaying part in "Dying to Live".

After recently getting on Toy Machine, Diego Bucchieri, quickly signed on to the Killing Machine Hardware team. He has been wanting to get on the team for quite some time now. After a chance encounter and subsequent run through the Killing Machine warehouse, he's a welcome addition to the team.

Gold Wheels recently added Terry Kennedy and Mikey Taylor to their impressive roster.

Quattro Wheel Company announced the addition of two new amateurs to the team: Jose Rojo and Jesus Fernandez.

Toy Machine has just released "T-Sect" ABEC-5 bearings. They come in a Transmissionator pez-dispenser. Eating bearings is not recommended! .

The F glam boys are back from the Tour de Foundation en Latin America. Puerto Rico and Panama are both screaming Viva La Foundacion! Everyone reported sick demos, crowded Emerica signings, good local booze, a very large canal, amazing local spots, Noriega?s Bunker and clear beach waters. Special thanks to Andres and Mark Waters for setting up Emerica sessions. Watch for the documentation coming up in Transworld and 411VM.

John Rattray will soon be residing semi-permanently in San Diego following the acquisition of his work visa. He?s also looking forward to getting a drivers license so he can learn to drive on the correct side of the street.

Lindsey Robertson, John Rattray, Ryan Bobier, Jon Allie and Ryan Smith have all taken up residence in Vista with Wiggins. Smoking is allowed after 10pm, but only on the balcony.

Adrian Lopez wants everyone to know that he quit Hurley. He just gonna cruise for now in the clothing department.

Patrick Melcher is out in California for the winter. He?s been destroying many a rail and has been sessioning the Giant Skatepark in Costa Mesa. Look for his signature board on Black Label this coming February.

Don Nguyen no longer is riding Destructo?s. He succumbed to Ruckus.

Destructo welcomes Jeremiah Vance to the team. He?s a new breed of rail smasher.

Kristian Svitak has signed a deal to endorse Wooster?s line of colored griptape.

Steve Nesser has been touring with Consolidated. He?s set to join up with Clint Peterson in California after the first of the year. He?s now on Iota Skateboards with his pal Emeric "OLU" Pratt. Helen Hunt was spotted at Old Star in Santa Monica buying two completes and a load of pads this past week.

Charlie Wilkins was on the Ricki Lake show on Christmas Day!!!!!!

The topic of the show was on skateboarding. On the show Mom's who have young kids that are getting hurt skateboarding (like most kids do skateboard or not...), and they want them to stop before? they could hurt themselves to death.

Eric Koston and Rick McCrank are on the Girl Tour, which is winding its way through the southern United States. They'll be home for Christmas, then back out in the new year for more Girl trips. The deadline for the Girl video is early next year, so they're getting last minutes hammers before editing starts.

Arto Saari is back from Australia and has been filming in Southern California. Es is very proud to announce the arrival of the new Arto Saari pro model shoe, which will hit the stores in very early 2002. It's been called a mix of the Koston 1 and the Accel, with an airbag, which could make it the perfect skate shoe. You'll be able to decide for yourself soon enough!

The Billabong team including Bucky Lasek, Quim Cardona, Willy Santos,

Daniel Haney, Brian Patch, and Chad Bartie all just returned from a two week tour in Australia. The team traveled from Melbourne to the Gold coast doing demos and shooting photos and film for TWS and 411. You will see coverage of the trip in both TWS and 411 in the near future.

Paul Rodriguez and Mike Taylor have been on the road lately, filming for the upcoming City Stars Am video "Terror Squad". Even though they just finished "Street Cinema," they've still got footage, and the new flick should be out early next year.

Dying to Live is still being worked on. I know you?ve heard this before, but it will be worth the wait.

How bout some skate news we can use:

The SHorty's Video, Guilty, is the biggest dissapointment in skate video history.

Alien workshop is trying to buy all the good skaters with new cars. SO far it seems to be working.

Matt Hensley, Natas, Kevin Staab, Sal Barbier, and Jim Muir somehow still have pro model boards available.

New Zero video dying to live, not available soon.

411 DVD biggest waste of money ever.

California set to open 200 more crappy, ill-designed, rinky-dink skateparks this year in an attempt to keep skateboarding contained.

Most amatuers aren't really amatuer since they get paid and can win money from contests.

If you quit Real or Anti-Hero or Think you can bet your ass you won't be getting wheels from Spitfire or Thunder or Vernture trucks and don't look forward to coverage in Thrasher or Slap.

you forgot stereo. or maybe that company isnt even around anymore i don't know. they're all owned by deluxe distribution, which has major ties with thrasher and slap and the norcal scene in general. it's fucked up but real and anti hero are easily the two best skate companies around so oh well.

terry kennedy on gold wheels? isn't that stevie williams' company? and weren't they dissing each other back and forth in interviews and shit forever?

i love the professional skate world it's like a wannabe hip hop soap opera.
