we are releasing a book, titled Desperate Dreamers, containing the first year's work of Skid Robot in Los Angeles. It will contain around 100 images, and the stories of the people met along the way. The first 100 copies will be signed and personalized for our early adopters!
We are raising money with these books to travel around the country for the year, helping the homeless folks that we come to know by increasing the quality and number of care packages we are able to give, as well as offset the cost of supplies while we gather and share their stories.
These stories will in turn be used to create a documentary film, as well as a second book highlighting work from around the country. The documentary will be available for download to anyone who donates $1 or more to our project, the second book will have it's own kickstarter.
In addition to the photo book and documentary, we are offering stickers, magnets, t-shirts, and limited edition photo prints to backers.
