  1. I went on this street art tour in San Francisco and wanted to post it here to recommend to all of you. I've been keen on street art for a long time and even started a street art blog, chronicling the scene in San Francisco but I never really got the opportunity to learn about the actual artists who work on the walls at night (not the ones commissioned by the city). I heard about this tour in the SF Weekly several months back and took it. Russell was like an encyclopedia of knowledge, knowing everyone from Dan Plasma (who's apparently very much hated in the city) to C4 to countless other people. He told stories about the dynamics and going ons between them and how that influences the art you see in the city. He's been following street art for more than 15 years and even wrote a book about it. If you're ever going to SF or if you live around there, I definitely recommend it. Does anyone else know of any great street art tours in SF, LA, or NYC? Thanks!
  2. Went on this tour of NYC and snapped that photo.
  3. As seen on this tour I took in San Francisco.
  4. http://pinterest.com/ Pinterest is excellent for inspiration.
  5. Tumblr is full of 14-year-olds and designers. It's really weird, but I must say that it has the best following mechanism.
  6. What did you guys think of Drive? I had no idea what to think... it was all very mechanical and surreal.
  7. Have you seen RP's spokes girl? twitter.com/shellyroche
  8. Haha, me too. Some of my old stuff is a blight on society.
