Fucked up the b, shouldn't have put the cutout at the bottom... Moz looking decent man, I reckon they'd look better if you did longer strokes with the pen, less texture to the overall colouring...
Yeah, I'm using those fine tip sharpies right now. That's why it's showing so much, they cover such small areas. And it takes forever to color.

I get what you're saying, I just really dig the old school look so that's kind of the path that I've been following lately.
-
Painted this a few weeks ago, haven't painted much lately unfortunatly.
-
In toy mode.

I've been absent for a while, here's some randoms from the last few weeks.

not good, but the lines flow into each other pretty well...z is schwag.
I like it, it does flow more than my current. I'll give it a shot on a wall soon.

Soper put Zone down with DEK. I'll post lots of Iowa flicks when I get my internet back. On my damn phone right now.

work more on continuing the flow of your strokes (that's what she said...)
But seriously, not a bad base for a solid throwy if you could make it flow easier on the arm.
Throwups are usually done so large because it allows the arm to swing and flow, try to be more conscious of quickness but still maintain accuracy.
Yeah. Even though those are safe chill spots I tried to do them quick. I did the red one in about 3 minutes and the white one in about 4-5. (I was filling with a stock cap)
-
I've changed my throws a lot. Luckly they look better and better every time. It isn't great, but it's better than what it was lol.
-
No, the left looks like a throw up that's trying to look like a throw up, because it is a throw up. -_-

2 hats I did for a guy.

Word, yeah I was looking at it when I was done and noticed the consistancy was pretty bad lol, but it's a good start I suppose.

To the two above me, beautiful. They look great. Ruck that shit looks great for how simple it is. Making something look that interesting while making it so simple is an art it itself.
I took this picture like 5 times and it kept coming out blurry so fuck it. Working on my old school straight style.
-
Most of my straight letters are a little better than that one, that was a bad day for me lol.
-
Totally off topic but fuck it, lol.

True. Like I said I never really related it as the actual yard due to the fact that I thought the actual yard was way down the track.
-
everything redeye said is on point. you blow up spots like that, not only does it hurt you but other writers in general. securities going to get tightened in that area now more than likely, not to mention at the yard which probably also gets painted.
if those 'experienced' writers really were as experienced as you say they are they would have popped you in the jaw for fucking up such a chill spot like that. spots like that are hard to find and easy to lose. until you've been around long enough to learn what not to do with track spots, you shouldn't paint them.
besides no one wants to see toy shit on metal anyways..too much of whats going on in freights is amateur nowadays because new cats paint freights because either A. they live in buttfuckistan and don't have any walls to paint or B. they're too afraid to paint walls so they paint freights instead because freights are usually pretty chill. especially at little layups like that.
That spot has been chill for years and years, and these guys have been doing the same thing for years and years. Nobodys getting arrested there.
What I'm saying is if I'm doing it wrong then my whole city is doing it wrong too.
-
I guess you have a good point for once. That bridge will be useless soon anyway, unfortunatly. Its been the best chill spot in my city forever, they're now about to run a major road under it.
-
Go bomb that ass somewhere and take a picture lol.
-
because its toys like you that blow up yards and lay ups so actually writers cant use them anymore.
stick to your backyard and chill day spots
Lol, so quick to assume. A: I go out with very experienced writers, the best in my city. B: We have a train yard right down from our chill spot which is a bridge. The train tracks go under the bridge and they leave sleepers on the tracks all the time. I've never personally stepped foot into the yard but I've painted around 50-100 train cars. :chicken:
