I'm diggin' them, but I think you should bring up the opening in the A. It looks akward with the rest of the letters.

I'll change that tonight and post up a picture, I agree, I think it will look a lot better.

Fuck it i'll even throw the gas mask out there for people to use. Print it off and put it on something. Just don't forget to post pics. :)

Word, that's what I did with these. Grabbed a few cans and did some randomness. I wanted to go simple for the last 2 I was doing. They're definelty not too crazy or eye popping but theres a few colors in there.

You think I should bring the lines up higher on the M? I guess if that's what you're saying then it makes sense. My lines not going high enough give it the effect that the top part of the M is a lot fatter than the rest of the piece.

I initially make them in photoshop, vector style with the pen tool. So I'm not just busting out a quick filter and taking the easy route, I do things to make the shadows pop then get to work, it can be timely. The gas mask took me a few hours just in photoshop time.

Looked around at a bunch of different throw ups and fonts and tried to come up with my own thing, I like it a lot better than the one above.

One of my first attempts at a throwup style. I wanna keep practicing. My lettering is pretty weak right now.

Background painted some light rustoleum color. I'm thinking about adding more to the background but I haven't decided yet ... Took Spawn's advice and used the font from my "BOMB" picture, Tried to make a Z that went with it. Now that I look at this though the B is kinda small. :(

Thanks man, I might put up some of my canvases on craigslist or eBay and see if I can make a few bucks to get some new supplies. How's that pen set working out for ya?

Also decided to throw a tag on this stencil canvas. 12x12, one of my first attempts at the bubble throw up style letters. Was gonna sketch it first but just decided to take a risk and try it. Doesn't look too bad.

Maybe a black background? I think black would be the easiest as far as coverage too. I could paint marker it all black, it would take some time but I think it might help the image.

This one is all finished up. The top part was her idea, figured it's hers so I'd do it. Turned out better than I thought it would though. And here's a new 16x20, not sure where else to go on it. (Gay light glare)

Actually since that isn't finished how about some suggestions to add to it. I'm thinking pink for the color to go around everything to make it pop but haven't decided. Let me know any suggestions that you think can make it look better/more filled.

Nah I make and cut my own stencils. Grenade is a 4 layer. And well done, those look amazing.

^ I like that. What I like most is the open ends that you didn't close. And the curves on the S, very creative. Tried my usual style here but added some extensions that connected letters, and some other things. I kinda like it. And yes once again the M is skinny compared to the rest, I don't know why that keeps happening. :( Lol. Maybe I feel like if I make it fatter that it's going to end up a hell of a lot bigger than the rest of the letters.

Yeah their color selection sucks. Idk, they just seem really watery. Post up some work you've done with them.
