  1. nah, it's too ridiculous to lie about something like that, not being Heldman my handle here is kjayh my email is kevinjayheldmanATyahoo.com -- I don't play games like that in additiion to the JA article full text and photos if you check the site it represents my whole life's work reporting articles on going undercover in a psych hospital running around in Afghanistan tracking two kids from juvenille detention, when one turned cold blooded murderer on me and now he's doing life life inside military camptowns, red light districst overseas sick assault kidnapping torture case in Houston where kids flipped out on Skinny Puppy and vampire shit and destroyed a fellow street kid a lot of grity, I think smart well reported work I think I'm moving away from print and gonna do a lot more work on line at the site so check me http://JournalismWorksProject.org I have a felling guys on this site would be into the stuff I do peace kevin heldman
  2. What's up you all -- just spent the last 5 hours on this JA thread. This is Kevin Heldman, I wrote the Rolling Stone article on graf and JA back in 1995. I know it's been posted here repeatedly and you all said some good things about it -- much appreciated -- in the future there's a better link, easier to read the article, on my site http://journalismworksproject.org/graffiti.html The article came about through meeting up with SANE's brother SMITH, SANE was already dead -- he hooked me up with JA -- I met KET through some housing works program, KET hooked me up with GHOST. JA is an athlete, an artist, a professional -- dedicated like mad; he risked his life repeatedly when I was with him and they didn't care about the article, they threw the photographer out, he came with us one night and he was being kind of a media dick, he's acting like he's doing them a favor. JA, KET, SMITH treated me with tremendous decency all the time and they didn't have to. They sincerely believe they have a cause in life, a mission -- sometimes they question it, but then they just go out and do it anyway, do their thing, at great great personal sacrifice. I'll shut up now -- just wanted to say I have tremendous respect for the man. peace kevin heldman
