All of the flicks seen here are stolen. It's weird how not all of the pictures are posting.

I enjoyed posting these as bigger sized pictures.

My spot is in the middle of the woods and I don't have a flashlight. Besides, the article you linked me to said nothing about flash and I haven't had any trouble with my camera over the years. Typically I only take pictures when leaving.

My two cents goes with the typical posts seen here. With freights in particular I'd rather do a simple straight letter over a complicated piece anytime. My thinking behind this is that the freight will cross a road intersection for a few seconds and in that time the average person won't spend their time reading some complicated painting. They will instead read the straight letter piece, but even then some would argue does it really matter if that person can read it.

School sucks.

Back in the day when I first started out painting them I talked with one of the workers and he was openly positive about people painting freights. Then I have heard stories with conductors calling the police when in a bench as it went by.
