One of the new HP ones, I think it's an 11.5 inch has HDMI out. Bit more of a price but it's probably more suited for what you want it for. I got the HPmini above and it's great. easy to take around, fast, cheap. But fuck using Windows 7 on it! That shit was slow as anything. Quickly rebuilt it with Linux

Like casek said, get another gig of ram, I know most of the netbooks have an 'upgrade' offer where the double the HD size, add another gig of ram and give you a 6 cell battery. I don't know if you'd be wanting to use a netbook for music production though! I was thinking of getting one but I'd only really use it for iTunes and updating my website, etc..

Ubuntu have a build just for the netbooks. I'm sure it would be pretty sweet. But you know you won't be using Photoshop on your linux netbook

I remember this dream from ages ago.. I was at home, a normal day until someone broke into the house, some fucked up psychopath and me and my family ended up being held captive in our own home. Everything was dark as fuck and the place was a mess. He would keep us all alive on minimal food but torture us, burning me with cigarettes, cutting little slices of my skin off.. Shit like that and it felt like it went on for ages. I've forgotten exact parts now but I never forget the end. There was shit all over the house, boxes of food spilt and I was so weak I could only slump against the door in the kitchen, glass door. He took my family out of the room and I knew he was going to kill them, there was nothing I could do, knowing I was next, just sitting there. Heard all the screaming. So he left his gun on the table and I managed to reach up and grab it, shot myself in the head and I felt the burning as it ripped through, felt the glass smashing behind me and fell onto the floor. But I was still alive, I could see everything but I couldn't move or speak. The guy brought my family back into the room, who were alive, and then I watched him slowly kill them.. /story Shit was fucked up though. Woke up not knowing what the fuck was going on.

So I got a new PS3 recently, got a few games like Battlefield, use an HDMI cable usually.. Just got inFAMOUS today, and the sound doesn't work with the HDMI cable. I think I've heard it's common, but any way to get around it? Now I have to revert to the shitty AV cable that comes with the PS3...
