well they're easier in a different type of way. anyone can paint "abstract" shit, but it won't be good. good abstracts require more skill imo because they require more thinking and theory. if you've got Jimmy to paint for example, you already have a face, lighting, and method you follow and just need to be precise. abstracts don't have those methods or "rules" to follow which makes for a different type of painting.
