  1. Swapped to SR ( I'm pretty sure you saw that one coming ) Garrett 2871R .86 264 cams, intake and exhaust 3" Straight pipe Converted into a Sileighty There's a bit more done but I'm too lazy to list them all. To keep it moving:
  2. Don't know what it is and why I like it, but I like this one: Is there a post your own car thread? but yeah this is from last sunday, the weather was beautiful so I went out for some "spirited" driving. :) Guess my car! This should be relatively easy. Fun fact: Had I been caught doing 160, I would've gotten my car confiscated on the spot.
  3. How the fuck did she even manage to do that? ... I'd smack a bitch if I had a Pontiac LeMans in prestine condition and someone managed to hop over a parking lot island and hit it. lol, I'm getting upset just looking at the pictures. EDIT: Damn it uzi, I was hoping no one was gonna bring that up, lol. I'm asian and I would say I'm pretty good at driving :(
  4. I've always loved film photography, although I've never been good at it. I'm really starting to hate the whole hipster scene though, seeing as how I'm one of the younger cats around here, I'm surrounded by them. They'd see me lugging around my DSLR and comment on how film is so much better and how I should step my photography game up. Then looking at their photos at a later date, they aren't even all that great. I have mad respect for those who are mastering or have mastered the film game but I hate how some of these kids think that using a film camera makes them good at photography. /endrant and to keep the thread moving,
  5. VW's are actually pretty nice cars, it's just personal preference I guess. As for LS swaps, they actually make so much sense that I don't get why people would even bother bashing it. If you build a car for the sole purpose of power, you tend to lose the whole reliability aspect of the car, for example, you can build an rx7 with a bridgeport, ceramic seals and a single instead of the twin turbos and boost the fuck out of it ( My buddy runs 21 psi on his FD, ~600 horses I would say ) but you're going to need to rebuild it sooner than you'd probably like to. As for other engines like SRs, RBs, JZs, most people don't do things the right way when they build cars and end up cheaping out on one specific area of the engine and that ends up coming back and screwing them over and blowing the whole thing. With the LS swap, you'd have ~300 horses bone stock and can reach 500 easy without totally throwing out reliability. Some cars, funnily enough, retain 50/50 weight distribution when you swap and LS into it, for example, the FC rx7, which is a plus. It all comes down to whether or not you're a purist or not really. To me, power is power, whether it comes from a 2JZ, 20B, LS1, RB26 or a a freaking lawnmower. So yeah, if I had the money and time to do an LS swap, I would. Pictures to keep it moving :)
  6. Wait what, I have a picture of a *complete* drift car?! Who doesn't like retarded angle? aanndd just in case you don't like those...
  7. lol, I may or may not have mixed up the word hipster with gangster, oops. they both have -ster, close enough,
  8. A shot for a buddy of mine's media assignment about hipsters. Such a hipster picture, lol. I liked the colors on the phone though, I liked them a lot actually.
  9. Think and say what you want about the kit but... you CANNOT fuck with a twin turbo V12. Full feature here.
  10. I'll raise you on the 240 coupe, and that 300zx and some veilside widebody rx-7 goodness

  13. +1 for finding your shop keys AFTER you've already done the hard work.
  14. The weekend right before winter hit, I had to take apart the front end on my 240sx because the wiring under the driver side fender got all fucked somehow and I didn't want to put the car away unable to start and just let the lines get fucked. Shit was the worst, I usually have no problem with this kind of stuff but when you add sub-zero temperatures to the equation that shit sucks total dick. Have you ever tried doing wiring in -10C temperatures? lol Before: After: She's working all nice and dandy now though, waiting on a silvia hood so I can start on the front end conversion, hopefully by the time summer comes into full swing I can have the front end and all the body work done. Possibly a SR20 swap during the winter? ;)
