Fun fact about Sion, HQ, Mono, Ir, and the rest of the NMA heads: they sucked. Blank walls > walls that they ruined. Footsteps is completely right about graffiti in Northern Virginia: it's irrelevant. There is no reason to paint the suburbs when there is such a big city so close with a dying graffiti scene. I guess what I'm trying to say is that graffiti belongs in the city. Putting that extra ten bucks in your tank or on your SmarTrip is worth it because DC needs it. DC needs more graffiti. Northern Virginia will be bombed, it's simply inevitable... but it should be as a result of a lack of spots in the city, not because people are afraid to get out and walk blocks. I realize that this is the Virginia thread, but figured I'd share my feelings on the matter.
