I've just got a job after nearly 6 months of unemployment and i only got it cause i hassled my mate to get his boss to hire me. Probably could have got something sooner but i'm pretty particular and i didn't want to work somewhere shit. but if you have a trade theres actually alot of stuff out there as everywhere wants people with previous experience. but every kitchen i've worked in nowadays is run by Romanian or polish heads so maybe its easier if your foreign? or maybe they just settle for shit wages? hahaha as i am writing this there is a piece on the news about unemployment in my city!!
