  1. In all honesty, i dont think you've really improved shaken, and i hate your extensions, they're all the same. Try a complete different style and see how that works for you.
  2. Im onto some MB powder, but this powder is Methylene Blue Basic, im wondering, is this what im after for the staining properties in my ink, or is it the 'basic' powder not what i should be getting?
  3. Yeahnations onto it ;) About the pigments getting stuck in the nib and that, thats what i was trying to say, but i couldnt get it out. My Tgrade is just the black. Without the t grade, there wont be much point putting the others in the pilot, as the t grade makes up most of the mix so i'll just chuck them in a mop. Cheers for that :D
  4. No, inside a pilot it has some sort of filling, which im not sure what it is, so i called it felt. Im wondering will the ink still work if it get absorbed into it. Hate not being able to explain things the way i mean.
  5. Cheers Vader, i have 2 of those, but where im from we dont have michaels and wallmart and stuff like that, so its hard to find the supplies. I just wanna know if the ink will still be ok absorbed into the felt?
  6. I just grabbed myself a brand new pilot, i have a little bit of oink, some marsh t and violet garvey, but not much for a supply, maybe enough for 2 refills of a mop, i was wondering, can i put the oink garvey and marsh in the brand new pilot with the felt? which holds the pilot ink, or would i need to take the felt? out for it to work? I dont wanna drop my last bit of ink into it, not to work.
  7. Yeah would be alright. By the way, im not the seller, i just came across it on ebay.
  8. I didn't really post it for someone to jump on it and go out using it, more if someones into collecting old inks/markers/paint and shit, pretty sure someone who's into that wouldn't mind some old garvey.
  9. Not trying to start an arguement, but i i prefer those bmore hands over the philly's. Im not even from america so im not being biased, just my opinion.
  10. I'll leave this here, for anyone that wants to jump on it. I have no idea about it, but someone would probably be interested in this. http://cgi.ebay.com/23-Bottle-Grocery-Store-Stamping-Ink-Garvey-St-Louis_W0QQitemZ270459235910QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ef8a06e46&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  11. A few days a go me and a mate went for a bit of a bomb round town, nothing major but thats besides the point. I had a bingo marker filled with oink and he was using a pilot, it was the first time i've tried oink and ill say i was a little bit let down. We hit all different surfaces and 2 of them we're on stainless steel. I went back a few days later to see if they'd been buffed and to see how well my tags held up. I've only been able to get a look at the stainless steel tags that had been buffed , but on both the surfaces my tag was barely noticeable, i had to literally stand there and look for it, whilst my mates pilot tags were atleast 5x more noticeable. My question is, has the lack of a ghost got to do with the fact the tag was on stainless steel, and that the stainers hadnt been able to sink into the surface or something along those lines? In no way am i knocking Oink, was just a bit let down the fact pilot ink stained harder then my oink... guess you cant beat a good old pilot.
