i agree with you on that^ ive been going to school in the worst part of town at the "blackest" school in the city and i went to a super white school once and not only were "scared" of me they drove up the wall. i got in trouble for the stupidest things and ended up telling the principle to pull the dick out of his ass and tell his school to lighten the fuck up. theni transferred back to good ole NHHS

ok, im not going to try and get into this conversation because that was too much reading to do in one sitting but here in NC everyones fucking freaking out. at school we had a "quarantine drill" which was basically just a lockdown where they told us what to do incase of an infectious disease spread through our town, not to touch anyone ETC and they handed out flyers assuring us our county cares about the children. then everyones parents were called (except mine, i have my cell number as my moms number in their contact list) with a prerecorded messege rehashing the flyer and stating that there has been a confirmed death but no confirmed cases in NC yet. also stating that if there IS a reported case in any of the neighboring counties or ours that attending school will be optional and everyones grades will be frozen. i thought that was interesting since we were the only school in the county to attend on a day with snow (it NEVER snows here and when it does, even flurries, school is closed) because someone broke a bunch of windows the night before the first day and the school was closed for repairs because it was raining that week so we already lost alot of days off spring break. so that kinda worries me. but ive never had a cut get infected and ive never worn a bandaid so ive got this weird Stephen King type thing going on (in a book but better illustrated in a movie he is "cursed" with not being sick so he lives for a long time having to deal with some bad thing he did. i totaly forgot the rest of the movie and book except that.)

i think the safest thing to do would be go for 2 years at community and then transfer to uni. just dont go to ANY college that has ads on TV unless you recognize the name (recognize it from other places, not TV) orrrr dont worry about it and call it as you go.

i think my little brother has this shit. but in all honesty im not too worried about this. the regular flu has killed 36k people(not sure exactly) and jon stweart did a pretty good job of making this sound like no biggie.

yea, i went to the lbs and they said they dont really make those for 7 speed bikes but they said they could just lock out the bottom three settings and make a 10 speed "brifter" work on my 7speed. but its going to cost atleast 125 for a pair and i dont even have derailleurs so im going to hold off on that for a while... i think im just going to look into bar end shifters. is it good that im learning how to ride CX and XC without using brakes on a singlespeed? i crash alot and i dont go that fast but ive heard people say if your not crashing your not practicing and if your not practicing your not getting good and if your not getting good then your not going fast and if your not going fast then your not going to be winning. it took me a second to wrap my head around that text messege but it makes sense. part of me feels like im cheating myself but another part of me feels that once i move up to a decent bike with all the fixins im going to be good.

knockoff Raybans. already broke 2 pairs in "construction" unrelated incidents (faceplanted on my bike and sat on the other pair) so im never ever going to pay more then 20 dollars for sunglasses.

Steve & Barry's the jeans are cheaper then thriftstore jeans, everything for under 10 dollars. all they sell is cargo pants really, limited on the variety but they have every size and shitloads of shirts. even have some shoes i think. but i mean hell, when you pay more for your socks then you dont worry about ripping a hole in your pants or spilling paint on them.
