  1. SOMEONE just discovered the oontz…hahal, only a decade too late.the only difference is if it WAS 2004, you would be catching A LOT of shit for the shameless self promotion. dope pieces tho.

  2. so you're going philly to baltimore then straight west to pittsburgh and then dayton OH(?)

if thats the route you take i have a lot to contribute from experience.

philly is philly. i wont be up there but you'll probably be fine sleeping out of your car and being a grimy fuck as that's practically a local hobby up there. your dog might like the schuylkill riverwalk, which is also a hit-or-miss bench spot. im sure youve been there before, real locals could help you out here. if you feel like taking a day trip from philly the town of centralia PA is a ghost town with an underground mine fire burning under it. it's tight and other 12oz'ers have been before. i would check it out.

if you're taking 95 ... hit one of the delaware or maryland beaches on the way to baltimore and get end-of-season shit like blue crabs for cheap if youve never had them. there still might be some for the taking. after labor day those beach towns in the area (rehobeth, ocean city MD, fenwick island) get semi-empty except for locals ... not like december empty but enough that theres parking and its peaceful. the weather should be awesome either way. you will get smacked with tolls up and down 95 in that stretch, it's expensive as fuck. there are outlets on 95 just over the MD line in delaware that claim to have a nike factory outlet but it fucking sucks, dont get hyped. the rehobeth outlets are marginally better.

or if you're open to adventure you can take route 1 south from philly to 695 which goes around baltimore. way more local roads and local flavor of northern maryland, which is quiet and cool. theres this crazy dam and reservoir on the way that has a park and fishing opportunities ... probably a small shitty beach too. there are no tolls on this road. keep an eye out for the combination auto repair shop and beer store that's about an hour north of baltimore ... america.

from baltimore west to pittsburgh is boring as shit. are you going through breezewood? if so, stop there and get food ... it's the only legitimate food place for miles in either direction. by legitimate i mean it isnt a wasteland rest stop with sbarro and other broke ass bum shit, breezewood at least has a denny's.

between breezewood and pittsburgh youll run into some random towns and attractions that ill describe here.

straight north of bedford PA is altoona, aka white male train nerd foamer city. home of horseshoe curve, an awesome piece of railroad engineering that has crazy amounts of trains. worth seeing if thats anything that interests ya.

next ... nearby the town of somerset PA (on the pa turnpike) is shanksville, where the plane destined for the white house on 9/11 went down. ive never been but i want to go sometime. supposedly its a real memorial there now and not some tacky bulletin board covered in shit.

pittsburgh i know nothing about. ive been twice and thought it was real cool both times. there's one rap station in pittsburgh, 101.1, and its garbage. figured you oughta know in case you have a thirst for 2 chainz en route.

i would drive up through cleveland instead of dayton. cleveland has more going on and sucks less than dayton. also you drive through youngstown and as some 12ozers can tell you i have a love/hate with the city of youngstown. theres like 3 good food spots in the whole city but theyre cheap and fucking delicious.

anywhere west of cleveland and you're off my radar. good ruck doe. i'd offer to meet up but my life is scrambled like eggs at breakfast right now. maybe again in the future.

ALL DAMN GOOD ADVICE FROM THIS GUY.
