I've enjoyed watching every episode. I'll say it again, it's a zombie show; acting, plots and tempo standards are allowed to be lowered for such occasions. the zombies still looking gruesome as ever, especially the water bloated one that split last episode. Can't wait for the next episode having been left with the barn cliffhanger.

They're obviously on a well not city water. They'd definetly be using generators out at that farm and probably already had them from being far off grid while the power lines and infrastructure was being implemented around there. It looks like they're just in a small rural town/farm land on a dirt road from an interstate so there're was most likely just a wooden or steel gate to stop cars not the gate to a high security perimeter fence. You can complain about the acting and all, but compare it to every single zombie movie there is. Completely on level if not above. Ruthless shot to the knee was suspected at the start to me as well with how Shane was all ".....fuck" in his actions. Regardless of any quarrels of this show anyone points out it's still the best thing on until breaking bad comes back.

if the first episode wasn't your thing then you probably won't like any of it. it's just a drawn out zombie movie. more character than zombies because it's a tv show. Also in zombie movies they don't know what zombies are, as in there is no such thing as zombie movies IN the zombie movie, like in the show so they call them geeks, walkers, etc.

My sister just called telling me Ptera my family dog's got a slipped disk in her back. she's gone from being as playful as a puppy to unable to walk or stand in one night. fucking tears. looked forward to seeing my dog almost more than seeing my family when going home. my parents and sister know I'm just living somewhere else, but Ptera is just oblivious and gets sad and whines for hours when I leave. her names Pterodactyl because when we got her from the shelter she was tripping on her ears. The shelter found her in a box with four of her brothers and sisters on the side of the road. We went to see the group of them and I instantly fell in love with her. The rest of my family wanted a different one, but when we came back the next day to pick her up after all the shots and stuff were done on the whole litter the one they wanted was gone and Ptera was still chilling unfazed waiting for me to come get her. The vets given us some pills which he hopes will make the signals from her brain to her hind legs start working again, but for now she can't walk or stand, has to be carried outside and held up to go to the bathroom. got her 16 years ago, and she hasn't shown any signs of aging until now. still booked it around the yard as of yesterday in circles for no reason.
