  1. same thing as elmer fat but waaaaaay skinnier and in my opinion, the best skinny cap for rusto.
  2. xylene does not dissolve bitumen without help. it is the wrong type of solvent. its like trying to dissolve butter with orange juuice. sure you can dissolve it eventually, but it is not in the least bit practical. andf im guessing by semi liquid asphalt (which means the rocks and all that good stuff) you mean granulated dry bitumen....because even google right noow is saying "double-yew tee eff mate?!" liquid asphalt comes in pre-mixed heated trucks, and i know your name aint that big.
  3. ....ummmm like a deco but broader?! be more specific
  4. im the one that suggested this back a few pages. get the bitumen from a store that sells paving supplies for driveways, get the naptha from a paint store (vm&p naptha) or ronson lighter fluid works ok... i suggested MEK or acetone for the copier toner because it dissolves the polymers very easy. GOTTA HAVE MY PROPS!!!
  5. it is a pentel white. real small, and when you flare out that nib, shit is butter. tip for flaring nibs:: before you flow paint into the nib when you first get it, it is yellowish and very fibrous right? well, you see the tip and how it is kind of rounde4d at the top? right where the rounding stops, bite it all the way around the nib, this way it makes it real flexy on that spot and when you write it will flare out beautifully giving you those thinner than a map, thicker than a deco lines, and it makes your paint less streaky where's my props?
  6. seriously though.. they must have some serious graff heads in a key position at elmer's just giggling to themselves... i wish i could contact elmers and just buy like 10 grand of those elmer fats. i bet they would break it off real cheap..... bigmetalcircus, holler at me. we should go in half on a large order. you sell em, and i paint with em.
  7. i love them both. no matter which cap is on it, i always know that an elmer's can always has good times for rusto. i have rustoleum in my veins.
  8. sometimes it shrinks due to long time exposure to solvents (Yes, even HDPE gets wobbly under some solvents) to avoid this, you can make your nib a little wider by rotating the CLEAN nib over a lighter till it gets a little pliable and just use a bic pen or a sharpie to widen the bottom half of the nib. tap it back into place with a hammer or your hands and voila.
  9. you better say thanks you fuck.
  10. ok here is how to use potassium permangenate. go to pool store. get PP in powdered, tablet or granular form. mix with grain alcohol and swish. bottle gets hot. let it sit for a day before you mix it in with your ink. it will make it stain pretty hard. it stains HDPE bottles brown.
  11. ummm the answer is on this page dude. really...
  12. nah it aint you, its john321 and olink that had me heated. i worked my ass off to be the first one publicly telling folks how to make a steel tipper, and like people, not only dont read it, but they just post right over me and work on getting to the next page. im just trying to make progress for all vandal-kind. being on 12 oz has taught me that nobody reads the previous pages.
  13. aigfht so about the guy talking about the level 5 fats..... hhhhhhh...... i bought some of these, and they were yes indeed able to make a circle 11 inches in diameter. bu7t my beef with these ridiculously huge caps is that although you can pass the can over the wall less time4s and get more coverage, it just looks like shit because where a rusto fat would lay down a 90% opacity line, the lvl 5 is putting downh like 20% or less, and from KRYLON no less. and unless you use euro paint, krylon is the only american brand that could acheive the full wide size of the lvl 5. if you ever used fat caps on rusto, you wonder why you arent getting those thick tubular lines that you see on all the demo videos, then you realize that rusto and most other american brands (most are made by RPM which makes rusto...) dont spray as wide. and to me i think that is mad gay. so i stick with rusto fats, elmer fats, and boston thins. that is for bombing only because they are 100% reliable and almost never clog. as for when im grafndancing i dont use such caps, because i use teh rusto 2x which is female and i think hands down everybody knows which caps to use for that, if the last 3 or 4 pages dont say it enough... *cough* trout
  14. its just thenovelty value. if somebody sees u writing, they see u writing.
  15. nah ive tried... he gets mad jewish about breaking off a bunch... i dont know if he like just doesnt wanna sell that many, but on more than two occasions he has been like nah, all i have is like 50 laying around...
  16. HAHAHAHA not just pwned, but "pwnt" yeah man, we all been on them, as in, we have been there, done that, and done the rackede cap comparison, even with the variable pressure study like the "hard to explain" reason why more paints come out the harder you press. yeh, i guess you could say we have been there...
  17. ALWAYSALMOST: and thats why brake fluid burns your skin.(BREAKFLUID IS NEURO-TOXIC, NOT CORROSIVE. YOU WILL SHOW CENTRAL NERVOUS PROBLEMS BEFORE SKIN PROBLEMS BY FAR) so once again if you want it to make a difference for your paint and stain a little more, you have to dump ounces of it to get an actual difference. (NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL, NO MATTER HOW MUCH, DONT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE) im into chemistry and such so im not just bull shitting everyone. (EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT WIKIPEDIA< JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE EAGER ENOUGH TO SEARCH IT PUTS YOU ABOVE THE REST BUT DOESNT MEAN THAT YOU KNOW) as i said before there are more ways to get better staining power so there is no reason to watering down your paint with garbage.(PAINT DOES NOT STAIN, THIS IS AN INK DISCUSSION)
  18. ahhhhh ok. ur right. i have taken note of that. man i cant wait to buy a big bag of them thaaaaangs
  19. the hole is melted on top, the bearing peeks through it, but is too big to pass through. so when you press on the tip, the bearing pushes back against the spring and lets the ink flow.
  20. yeh no shit, we need to pioneer a revolution of folks who dont use the fuckin fish oil and break fluid. end this senseless ignorance.
