  2. i like the tools! gettin my railfan on
  3. i've had this problem before. make sure you get a good anti scratch layer when you get new specs. if you've got an old or extra pair wear those. if not, wearing a hat helps a bit.
  4. aight iso speed is film speed. 1600 is good if you're shooting in low light. shutter speeds can be faster in lower light if you have a higher iso. 1600 iso film is perfect for shooting indoors esp. if you've got a fixed 1/60th shutter speed. as for the lenses if they have the same mount they'll work they just might not have AF. google the lens, check the mount and then see if it matches with the d90 body.
  5. Jaws, north shore maui. 30+ footers today!
  6. point and shoots are pretty simple, i understand that you want to compare and read reviews on cameras but your first step should be going to a store and just browsing their selection. Find one that meets your criteria of a large lcd and just make sure its a higher megapixel than the others. for your price range you might be able to get an 8 mp or higher as they've become pretty affordable these days. I like having a viewfinder, this might be something you'd might like to consider as well before purchasing. with P&S cameras the zoom is almost always digital therefore if you zoom, it'll be pixelated. unfortunately i dont really know the models of point and shoot cameras but if you go to a store, pick out a few and come back here with the names of those you like and we can compare the specs.
