Hey everyone. Thought I'd see if I can make more than two posts before disappearing for 10ish years again. Life's cool even though I don't live in Rhode Island anymore. Dug around a bit and it seems quiet, but it's honestly nice to see the bones of the place are still rattling. Spotted some familiar names and assume a couple folks are lurking under new handles. Community guidelines with "No politics" at the top of the card suggests I missed a ton of thoughtful/civil discourse, but otherwise, uh...what's up?

Little Caeser's...Christ. So terrible. In terms of drunk pizza, there's a small collective of bars here that give you freebies when you buy drinks. Toppings are a buck apiece. Delicious for the first 90 seconds, then they get cold and flaccid /NotHot but drunk you will eat three anyway.

I'm watching on Netflix. Amazon Prime might have them too. Right now watching the third episode at work, willing the clock to hit 3. Early release Fridays are nice.

It's very good, Cil. It's from 1990 so it's pretty basic--talking heads and voice overs with a lot of photos--but it's insanely expansive and the source material is one of a kind. A lot of diaries and things. It paints a really complete/wrenching picture of the whole war. He's also done one on WWII (maybe you've seen?) and there's a final series on Vietnam slated for release in 2016.

Watching The Civil War by Ken Burns. Drinking really cold seltzer.
