I don't really smoke dank much as it tends to kill my creativity when I'm doing it daily (and making/releasing new music is my main focus), but, if you can, yes - getting high as fuck every night can help you be more at peace with the whole thing.

I work 9-5 and I will agree, sometimes it feels like a nightmare. I can't keep it up too much longer. Shit will slowly kill your spirit if you're not the type who can handle it. And mine isn't even in an office. In fact my boss is a chill, laid-back motherfucker and I have what many would consider a dream job, working in a "media production" field doing high-profile video shit. It's the schedule that makes the whole thing fucked. The monotony and the bleak outlook of returning to the same place 5 fucking days a week, earlier in the morning than you'd like to. Plus, for me and plenty of others, there's the shitty cycle of getting fucked up every weekend to try and forget about having to work, then coming back on Monday feeling like shit. Only to attempt to recoup through the week before doing it again. And when I try to be disciplined and stay in / sober on the weekend, I feel depressed as fuck. Because Monday is looming and there's no alcohol to make me forget that.

Oh and how about when your friends show everybody pictures of you passed out naked in which your dick is retracted into your body lookin hella small. Even though when erect it's a respectable 6.5 inches :)

I drink a bunch of coffee through the day in an attempt to wake the fuck up, only to find myself way more tired + mentally drained / depressed by the time I'm off work. It seems like the only women that are gonna be in my life (sexually/romantically) just aren't fuckin cool. I have to work to keep someone else wealthy, in order to keep a roof over my head and have some modest but quality material shit

I make notable progress toward my goals and feel genuinely hopeful/optimistic, at least temporarily. A cutie makes it clear she's down. I feel content and not restless.

Didn't say they were all lagers, said dark english ales and good lagers are my favorite beers. I don't know anything about the water used in the UK, but heavy carbonation isn't a characteristic I look for anyway. Anyway, to each their own ! 90% of the people where I live think I'm crazy for not being into overly-hopped pales and single/double/triple IPAs... Which is fine. It's strange, when I was smoking dank regularly, a few years back, I loved hoppy beers. Since then, to me, theyve started to taste like what I imagine a pinecone would, or the pitch from a freshly cut tree branch. Plus they make the inside of my mouth feel bleh and give me a hangover no other beer gives me (the extra sugar maybe, not sure). All that said, I had and kind of enjoyed a Sierra Nevada just last weekend, and often find myself left with few non-hoppy options, so I still end up drinking them. I'm not exagerrating when I say 3/4 of the "good" beers typically available around here are super-hopped. Never had the Fuller's esb on tap but I really dig it out of the bottle. Maybe I'm the only one. And smooth doesn't necessarily mean lacking in character. I'm not talking fuckin guinness. I'm talking good porters, stouts and certain other ales.

Probably my top 5 fave beers off the top of my head (though after drinking each of them a little too regularly I've made it more of an occasion as to not get bored of them): Don't particularly like super hoppy shit or most American craft brews (90% of what's in California stores), usually prefer smooth, dark, english ales and crisp, quality lagers.
