  1. i've looked and looked but i can't find this topic covered. i've bought some Clash paint, and a can of Monster to try out. up until now, i've only used Kry, Rusto, and spanish Montana... here's the problem... i can't find in my stash of tips, a tip that works well with the Clash or the Monster can... either the tips will stick in the valve and just keep spraying, or the tips wont work and cover my hands in denied paint. even my ny fats, which sucks cause i love em more than any other.... i'd hate to have 13 cans of some fire colors just set up and not get used, but i just cant find a tip that'll work well on all the cans. i tend to fill with Krylon or Rusto, and outline and detail in with the Montana (Clash and Monster Hopefully)... Does anyone know of a tip that'll interchange between them all and pose no problems? i generally only use ny fats, ny skinnys, and the errant pink or orange dot.... why the hell don't these companies standardize the tip sizes.... the problem wouldn't exist!..
  2. doin that prolly wouldnt be that hard (makin silver/green krink, not straight up paint)... it's a good idea, i'll have to try it and see what happens. as far as paint goes, i think you're stuck to mixing it yourself and throwing it on a roller...
  3. i've had a bum ticker long before i started drinkin dew, wasn't sposed to live past 21.. or so the doctors said.... i guess i'm hopin the caffiene will some how preserve me.. ha.
  4. more than enough of that, but my sense of time and a decent heart rate has long since past me by...
  5. as of june 10, 2007... 90 cans or so... i "pick up" at least 4 new cans a week, just to replentish the one's i use during the week... there's no real reason for the mt. dew in the picture, other than the fact that i'm fuckin addicted to the stuff. in the bottles (and mop) is homemade krink... i finally figured out that all these bullshit tips aren't needed... i keep a pocket full of nyfats, nythins, and calligs now.... along with stock rusto caps.... but, i thought i'd post this picture anyway, cause technically they're still in my stash...
  6. ok, so i dunno if somebody has already said somethin about this combo... but it works pretty well for me... i obtained some "Casual Colors" spray (not sure who makes it) from my local walmart, just to see how they do. turns out the stock cap is wonderful for super super fine line, as well as fill... dual preasure valve thingy. downside is that the stock cap is clipped on the can and can't be 'easily' taken off, and when you do get it off you find that it's a male port valve. so your regular caps won't work... however, on a lark, i took the cap off a small can of AXE body spray and tried it... works like a f*&$ing charm for fill ins and larger borders... bout like a rusto orange fat or a german fat...
  7. aight... just put the green piece back in and it's doin fairly well... i just wrapped a couple layers of t-shirt fabic around the nib and tried it too.... i'm likin the fabric cause it's saving my sponge.... gonna run with that for a while and see how it does...
  8. so, with that new ink i made, i went out on a run last night. got a problem though. when i filled the mop, i took out that green spiral plastic in the tip to let it flow better, but i flows WAY too much... now i got a black leg and ruined pants.... i'ms clip the tip of that spiral plastic piece and put it back n the mop and see if that slows the flow. anybody got any other ideas to fix the problem? perhaps if i left that plastic piece out and wrapped the nib in a piece of felt or canvas? would that slow it up?
  9. tried making some ink today and it came out pretty good... 10 parts rusto black oil base 4 parts On the Run black ink 2 parts house of kolor thinner and a generous portion of aluminum dust put it in a kiwi mop. super black and the dust gives it a sheen..... reaalllly runny. looks damn good on metals and fibreglass pretty sure it's been done before, i haven't really read this thread all the way through.... but i thought i'd post it anyways.
  10. i love livin n a little city... i like to step out my back door and see wildlife in my backyard... i like the peace and quite..... so no, i ain't gonna move.... but, i also get up every chance i get... seems to me, there's too many damn people in this game that think you have to be a wannabe gangbanger hip hop listenin fool to be a writer.... anything else is just toy..... but lemme tell ya, fuck that.... i'm a industrial music listenin, white trash piece of shit straight from the trailer park.... and damn if it don't give me a bit of an edge over the played out shit i see all the damn time when i travel up to the city... and yea, i said played out shit.... look long enough, and you'll realize that there's only a few writers anymore that really push the lines..... i aint sayin that i'm one of em, but i aint even tryin to bite on all the other shit i see, like a lot of the writers i've seen do... oh, did you not fuckin read the part in my post where i said i do travel.... the exact thing i said was "my job has me travelin all over this state, to every bumfucked small town and large city on the map. every place i go i've gotten up"...... perhaps you've huffed too many fumes and your brain's too fukked to let you accually read somethin. instead, you just like talkin out your ass without the information...... i see that you tried to cleverly dance around my question of why can't the logic of going 'allcity' apply to a state.............. someone here, why don't you answer with a real response, instead of just trying to raise your hackles and act like the big dog on the block.
  11. fuck all yous that say paintin n the burbs is a tweaked idea.... i live, and grew up, in a small town, population 5000. it's a helluva lot harder to find a good spot, or even lift cans in a small town. so u gotta get really good, really fast... and for yous that say graff shold be left in the cities... fuck you! in old newyork it was a big thing to go all city.... all the way from the slums to the richie rich fuckers front doorstep. why the hell can't that logic apply to a state!? my job has me travelin all over this state, to every bumfucked small town and large city on the map. every place i go i've gotten up. two years of constant travel around this state has afforded me a chance to go a true 'all state'. just a few more chickenfuckin redneck towns to go. i'd love to see a city bred writer come out where i live and not get caught on his first night out..... i've been in this for two and a half years now and haven't even gotten close to smellin the pig stench..... heat's real hot in a small town... so like i said, you gotta get reall good reall fast when you live and write in a burb. seso.... and all yous writers that do ya thing in tha burbs..... keep it up and keep yo head down..... if you even so much as tell your dog that you write and you live in a small town, you'll get an instant ride to the station. words travel real fast, as you may already know, in a small town. in small towns that have a lot of history, there's usually old mills that are prime for the picking... most never have any kind of security gaurds, and they'll usually only have an old fence to 'keep you out'. other than that, you'll just have to scout like a mothafucka to find some good chill spots (under bridges, storage facilities, warehouses, etc.). then scout some more to find a good spot for your quick bombin runs that you want more visible to joe public. and just remember, in a small town... 3 am knows no one on the the roads, cept for the errant cop and the kids gettin blasted on smoke. so the early mornin is your best friend, even if it doesn't offer too much in the way of light.
  12. yea, like i said, i wasn't sure... new to the site...
  13. not sure if this is the right spot in the forums for this.... but, none the less, i thought i'd post this up and hope for some feedback... honest feedback... i've been painting for only about six months, so be as brutal as you want... i know i'm a toy, so you ain't gotta tell me how much of one i am... a skate park near where i live allowed me and two other guys that i run with to do a few pieces. and no, i aint shittin where i sleep... i write somethin totally different when i'm out gettin up... i did the FTA small bomb, and the 3192 bomb, and also i filled in and shaded the clouds on the salvation piece... one guy did the sazer piece and the greater part of the salvation piece... the other guy did a piece that i don't have a good picture of.. used krylon and rusto mainly, a few cans of montana for the outlines and special colors.... also, i used an On The Run .6 inch nib marker to do some quickies inside my 3192 piece...
  14. i live in a small town, i paint rather often... if you're commited, you'll find a way to do ya thing... you'd be suprised how giving local store owners in small towns can be if you ask politely for a permission wall (back of the building not facing traffic). i've got quite a few permission walls that came about that way.... as it's been said before tho. don't shit where you sleep...
