What a bunch of bullshit. "Hardcore" history is so fucking watered down I don't think the people who were there in the begining remember how it was. People read this book or see that movie and now everyone knows what hand Ian Mackaye wiped his ass with and which way the joint rotation went in the back of the Bad Brains van. I've been to a few shows where FSU affiliated bands played and all these guys were there as well. It looked like they were all just waiting for a reason to fight someone. Fuck going to shows like that, I felt like I was in prison again.

We all lie, at some point in our lives. I lie daily for pesonal gain and satisfaction. Here's some of my better ones: -I broke up with a girl by telling her I was HIV positive -I told a previous employer that I was Jewish so I could take all of the various holidays throughout the year off, and at the same time make people feel uncomfortable around me during Christmas and Easter. -I told the same employer that my mother had died in a really terrible car accident, and I was having trouble paying for the arrangements. They passed a card around and people donated $400 or so. I spent it all on drugs and then took three weeks off and went to Los Angeles to visit freinds. Lets here some of yours. I know there's a bunch of scumbags in here. I have better ones also, I'll share more later.

I checked the federal sentencing guidelines - for what Libby did is classified as a base level 12 offense, meaning someone without a prior criminal history could only get 10 - 16 months at the maximum. Someone who is classified at the top of the scale according to their criminal history would get 30 - 37 months.

Every president pardons people. Bill Clinton pardoned a lot of people. Everyone saw this coming, but lets be real for a moment - did Libby really comit a crime that warranted two and a half years in federal prison? People get arrested for interstate gun trafficking and get two to three years in the federal pen. I understand that alot of people, including myself at times, want people like Libby to be held accountable for what they do - but to treat him any different than say, you or I at his sentencing trial is not the definition of justice - be it stiffer penalties or leniancy. When you are found gulity of a crime, and you are in the sentencing phase, they have guidelines that they use. Someone like Libby with no criminal record will be on the bottom scale. They have modifiers that they can than attach for aggravated circumstances. In the end, the law is the law. You may not agree with what went down, but if you were on the other end of the stick, I think you'd be thankful for it.

Wouldn't it be difficult for life to exsist if one half of the planet was always light and the other dark? Also it said that the planet is fourteen times closer to the star it orbits than we are to the sun, wouldn't the temperature be like three hundred degrees? I've been told this by alot of people. I used to work in a grocery store and the cases of Starbucks coffee packaged for retail said "For sale or distribution in the U.S. only" Maybe this applies to retail sales only? I wonder if they have a different distributor in foreign countries? Strange. The point was, they said no. I guess I was trying to add more fuel to the fire for Starbucks haters. When you were in Saudi Arabia and Eygpt, were the menus different than what would be available to people in the U.S.? Anything not on it, or anything that I couldn't get over here? Just curious.
