I've been told that some instances like this exist, where the architect registers a trademark for the shape/design of the building and so subsequently usage rights are needed in order to portray it. Not a book publication specifically but I picked up an edition of Dwell magazine for a flight or something awhile back; it's pretty 'design' heavy but was fun to look through and had some real slick interior and exterior designs. https://www.instagram.com/dwellmagazine/?hl=en I picked up this issue - it was about those 1960's conversation pits. I recently picked up Imaginative Realism by James Gurney. Definitely recommend it for anyone who gives a shit about illustration or just picture making in general. Dude is a beast with oils.

Trying to crush some illustrations for a contract for the city. It's taking everything in my power not to hide dicks in these drawings with all their politically correct guidelines and bullshit. Had my piece of shit 91 civic stolen a few years ago. Buddy was caught about an hour away switching plates, if he had got away with it he would have been gone.
