ok let's get a few things settled... keepsix isn't an online store. keepsix has been around for at least 6 or 7 years, and its main focus has always been showcasing ottawa graffiti while other sites are busy sleeping on this city. the influence was from a9z's old park central site, and since it went down keepsix has been the only one i know of to continue focusing on the capital over the years. the site's been on and offline over the years, but selling belton has been going on here since 2006, as an alternative to buying it at a hipster doofus store in the market from a bunch of people who can't even properly explain to its customers the function of the supplies it sells. the price is about the same as other high quality paints, but belton (in my opinion) is a much better value for your dollar, it has nicer colours, and a lower pressure, perfect for outlining pieces. either way, if you can't paint with rust paints, wal mart/CT brands, krylon, right down to the $2 paint, you probably shouldn't be using this type of "designer" paint in the first place. it wasn't an option for alot of us coming up, and many people who learned with shit like rusto and krylon will swear by that stuff and never touch a can of montana, belton, true colorz, etc. besides, the high quality stuff isn't for much more than doing nice pieces with, if you bomb with it you're probably A)a douchebag with mom's credit card or B ) stupid. selling something like belton to people here is just adding another option, and people buying it are supporting someone who is helping people who are asking for a choice other than what's been available, and supporting someone who isn't in it to gouge a bunch of kids. as for the forum issue, who cares? these things are a poison in graffiti's very existence. the ottawa thread is a prime example of why exactly the internet has ruined graffiti. i havent decided if it's because ottawa graffiti has gotten so toy, or if there's just a higher rate of punks in this city with access to the computer. just because something's there, doesn't mean it needs to be flicked and posted that very night, especially when it's the same 3 tags and throwups posted 20 times. anyway, thats my piece. oh and if someone knows maro, tell that motherfucker to never EVER put a tag over one of my throwups again if he knows whats good for him...

London was the biggest police state I've ever seen. As were lots of the other European cities I visited. The entire planet, outside the 3rd world, is living in an Orwellian state, I'm not sure exactly why you think European society is much more free than American society. Anyway, why you felt the need to come on here and take jabs at people for hitting freight trains here is questionable. North America was built on the rails, it was the lifeblood of the continent for over a century. There's a special feeling when you're in your favourite spot at night, absorbing the sounds, smelling the rusty steel before you crack open your cans. I take it serious, duct tape over the numbers, doing full panels. It's a great feeling knowing what I just painted is going to roll to somewhere I probably have never been to or heard of, and then later on down the line meeting someone in another city who says "hey, i spotted a CN you did 5 or 6 years ago, it was mad faded". If you've been around as long as you say, you should know graffiti isn't purely about fucking up the system or sticking it the man or wherever your head's at. That's a kid's attitude, just about destuction. To people hitting the freights, it's about communicating with other writers, appreciating the rail culture and understanding the history and beauty of what you're painting. You talked about someone patronizing you? the title of this thread is more patronizing than anything anyone else has replied to you. I think you need to get off your high horse, because you're no better than the kids who talk shit about special graffiti paint and wack Euro styles. There's more to it than that, you know that...

well, i don't see your point, when you're giving him publicity by bringing him up in the first place. josh is a first name, a common first name. just like mike, steve, mark, joe, dave, etc etc, and dont forget how the graff everyone here emulates was started in places like nyc and philly by guys putting up their first name along with their street number, just to put their name up on the block and get it around to communicate with other people doing that shit. yeah sure it's about doing it the most or the best, but josh613 is no kid or some new jack, he's been around for some years now. if it's about real graff, cross him out, don't come on the internet to try and clown him, i dont think he uses these things.

yeah, heaven forbid there might be more than 1 graffiti writer in the world named josh. why dig for that shit? there are other people writing ender, ether, guilt, sage, shok, kane, chrome, daser, etc etc etc, if these people never cross paths it probably won't matter they're writing the same thing. if josh was writing ziggityDooDapOne and there was another one of those somewhere in the world, there might be something to question. so unless the josh you posted is you or one of your friends, there probably isn't much you can do to make him switch things up. p.
