I was going throught his thread from begining to end, and when I saw this post it was close to home because of my initial post, and after thinking about it for a while and debating all the reasons you just brought up, really the only thing I can say is actually "GOOD" my brother is a fucking cop and some of the shit he has admited to me makes me wish that the people he delt with beat his ass on a regular basis. If he got murked, I would feel an ungodly amount of sadness, but you know what? HE'S A FUCKING PIG. god knows what he's done that he hasn't admited to me, who knows what he's hidden. he could have been a fireman. even after he was wounded and told me that he didn't think the department gave a shit about him or his fellow officers he chose to stick by them, out of what I don't know. who the fuck knows what kind of twisted sense of loyalty that is... as far as his children go, they would be better off with a real role model like a parmedic or shit, an annoying wake your ass up in the middle of the night fireman on his way to do some life saving shit. and as for your community how exactly are you worse for the ware? are the police going to be less polite in their interactions with you? are you concerned about sketched out police officers being a little bit more reserved when they pull you over? as far as I'm concerned, this is a good thing. They will learn that they are not invincible. I'm ranting I'm stopping. fuck me.
