  1. Liquid latex (the sex store kind) is quite weak and takes damage from a lot of chemicals, as opposed to the more industrial varieties that are made to hold up it's primally made for temporary body painting and such.
  2. It still writes a bit dodgy but i like that you can even hold it upright and a tiny squeeze will fill the nib with paint. I guess filling it up with ink instead will create either mass mayhem or totally unreadable blobs..
  3. It has dried up a bit, but nowhere as bad as eraser felt. This is a softer felt i got from a crafts store. The main reason it's still going strong i think is that the eraser felt is square and a bit undersized compared to the hole - letting the paint flow freely throught the sock around the felt while the felt maintains the shape of the nib.
  4. hydrogenated Check out http://www.stonehouses.co.uk/ , they carry 1-shot paint, should do the trick.
  5. Found a ultrasqueezable body lotion container from a hotel. The cap was the type that locks onto a notch on the dispensing tube so i cut the tube just above the notch to make room for the nib. The nib is made of thick felt with a piece of old sock fabric for extra snug fit. You give it a tiny squeeze to fill the nib with oilbased thinnedout paint, squeeze a bit more for sick drips. I'm sorry for the lousy photo, the plastic bag/tape routine is something i throw on homemades when trying them out in the beginning to reduce the risk of paintfilled pockets.
  6. Add mint oil for maximum freshness, pose with some breath spray if somebody turns their heads after you've left your mark.
  7. Yes, it has 2 separate tubes. Somehow I imagined that it was just a small separation so you could thrash it to make something similar to a miniwide but as it looks right now the only way to do so is to cut the tubes at the top and secure a second container inside.
  8. xHOPEx I have thought of making a wide one out of the sour doublespray (I don't remember the brand). Even though it has two tubes it will probably turn out nice with one nib. I just have to get around to throwing it together someday, oh well..
  9. Well, since the sponge didn't fall off or anything like that i think the problem lies with the push pop. I've never had any other homemade melt from krink before.
  10. It was dinnertime for the krink. The nib is under the lid, i had to struggle a bit to get the lid of as it had melted together with the nib. The nib was cut in a rectangular fashion to get a more marker-like stroke.
  11. I made a pushpop marker the other day (never made one of those before, figured it would be a beenthere-donethat-point) simply by shoving a shoe shine pump/sponge into it, turning it upside down and using a serrated blade to cut away the excess plastic so the lid could be used again. It worked flawlessly when i tested it, but when i checked back on it 4 hours later i came to the conclusion that krink doesn't love pushpops..
  12. asdf_va! I feel you on the whole headache business. I had a TIA a week ago, spent 8 hours straight in ER with catscans and what not and looked like a voodoo doll when i was released. Now i get 3-5 intense headaches per day in the right lobe. The only solution is to bomb the pain away i guess .)
  13. enigmatic Thats nice .D I bend silver pilots into a V-shape (so you can hide it in your hand when marking up crowded places) and the first times you press down the nib it literally pukes paint, but then you get really nice drips.
