DG's arcade in Warwick. This place might have closed in the late 90's. It is located in the plaza that holds the tmobile and pool store. When Chuckee Cheese was open in the big plaza down the road there arcade was quite official and so was the PC arcade

Just got here, this place is amazing. Any locals or other foreigners know where to find paint and pens? Also, what wards are worth spending time in if I am only really here to see writing?

You have to take a train to Shibuya station and walk across the street, if you see a large wall with some real artsy graffiti then you are nearby.real easy to get to as well and there are plenty of cool stores. Even a Tower Records nearby they sell some Japanese graff mags

damm people bringing back some arcades. Dream Machine, DG's was official. Has anyone ever came close to beating those 2 old dudes that played chess there on like a Monday or Tuesday night. Even if you lose( which most did) they gave you 3 free game tokens.

I'm always shocked when I hear about strip clubs other places where you can't even touch the girls. You can fuck a stripper at almost every club we have, and I've never even heard of a lap dance here where you don't at least get titties stuck in your mouth
Oops had to edit the post about the weiners. I do eat them from time to time. Yes you are right about the RI smut scene. Strip clubs, Massage Parlors, Street Workers, Escorts,etc. RI has it all. Why else do all the atheletes from Boston come down here to party hahaha

Who's got a couch I can crash on for a night, one of these weekends? I'm trying to consume drugs and try out this coffee milk/hot weiners (/NH) shit you guys go on about.I have high expectations.
I can reccomend some seady places to stay if you are down here. But even I as a long time resident of this state, I personally dont drink coffee milk but I eat hot weiners* from time to time. I honestly think the sweat and track marks is what gives it the taste, That secret sauce is bullshit. I will say this about RI strip clubs, before the law was passed to ban indoor prostitution in my honest opinion RI strip clubs gave you more bang for your buck( pun intended) compared to strip joints in LA and NYC. Talent level in larger cities will always dwarf tiny RI but value not.

Ive been to Europe a couple times and it wasnt like they where shocked to see a brown skin person in a city where there was little to no immigrant population. Yet when I was down south, some people were looking at me weird at a hard core show. In my mind Im like they never seen picstures of Bad Brains,Agnostic Front,Burn,Leeway.

Yall want some good Chinese food, then hit up Mandarin Garden on near the Smith Hill New York System cant miss it. Shit has been around since the late 70's i think. My reccomendation for all the ballers on a budget is get the half chicken, combination fried rice, spicy. Its combo C, you must indicate it to be spicy as well. 6.20 or 6.45 definately beats any bullshit on broadway.

only chicken joint i've been to in the past year is ROYAL FRIED CHICKEN, on dexter st. in central falls.i went in there, it must have been the 1st or 15th... i don't remember, but i had just cashed my check from work at that little "world travel" spot a little ways down the street, and i walk in the place starving. it was like a scene out of a movie... full of black people and as so as i hit that door 90% of them all stopped and turned to look at me.. i thought that was funny.. i should have said "WHAT YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A WHITE KID AS WHITE AS ME BEFORE?"... i don't remember how the chicken was... it was probably alright if you're starving...

wow I cant believe I found this thread. I rarely come in this section of 12oz. Alot of history in here as well as the usual useless bullshit but I guess that makes it more colorful. Food and Restaraunts are always a good discussion. I went through at least 60% of this thread and no one has mentioned the new crop of fried chicken joints that have popped up in the last 5 years. Even though disguised as different names they are either all owned or go through 1 parent company. They chicken so good I dont even give a fuck that part of it probably goes to Al Quaida*. What about the buffet's the most empowering place to be ever. Everytime I am out of town and people ask me where Im from I tell them RI( close to Boston and NYC) and there still in awe. But the best thing about this state is the location and dense population. Who really wants to live in a overcrowded,expensive city. Just a lil of my 2 cents from my new SNAP payments hahhaa
Anyone got pictures of them free lunches they hand out in the summer. I was like damm this is fucking dope as a kid when I first moved here about 20 years ago

the pink ironlak caps are awesome but they can clog fast and the stem can break real easy. Good for 1 time use unless you take really good care of them. But for the best cap get the Original NY Thin*
*those who been in the game for a decade or more know about this.

yo I really never read this thread before in all my time on 12 oz but I figure I would share the wealth will everyone on here for a price of course. Here is what I have. I have the original NY Thin tips that will drastically reduce alot of unneccesary line work while piecing. If you are from the Northeast and been writing since the early to mid 90's then you know what Im talking about. I first started using this cap 13 or so years ago on Krylon and worked great especially on " Banner Red". After a while as you all know Krylon got wack and we started getting the imported paints. I tried this in Montana Spain and Ironlak and it works straight. But if you want them thin laser crisp lines like Ges or Kem5( just to throw some names out) then look no more they have arrived. All you need is 1 and take care of it real good after painting and you are gold.This cap is for technical style writers but it can help anyone. Price is $10 for 1 cap and $2 for shipping and handling No Bullshit. Below are a couple of FAQ's
