stay out of Channel 0 then, it is full of derp. and occasionally herp.
  3. in all seriousness though, what the fuck. since when was a government allowed to redefine mental health conditions and make up (what seem to be) new-age, hippy bullshit ones? If you really want kids off drugs maybe you should look at the relationship big pharmaceuticals have with Doctors, they're like the fucking sugar daddies of the medical world. "prescribe this and we'll give you X" "recommend this treatment and we'll pay for a cruise!".
  4. treat mental disorders as but then who can we blame for the shootings? Cunt's got it right on this one they're all a bunch of fucking communists, socialism is a mental disorder
  5. yes Gutterball, I want you dead. you got me, I want to herd all gun owners and their families in to the fields and shoot them with their own guns and then throw those guns in to a smelter thereby removing the problem permanently. The next step in my plan is to urinate on the US flag and wipe my ass with the constitution. word up.

  7. true, it's called self doubt tpbm hates having to shit straight after getting out of the shower
  8. they are militarily trained though, not some range shooter who thinks he could handle a hostage situation because he shoots at paper targets on the weekend. And I've never advocated the removal of weapons, I'm not scared of it but as a NORMAL HUMAN BEING when someone else has a gun that I don't know, I am worried about it. Just like I'm worried about when a cop pulls his weapon, I'm equally worried about a civilian rolling around tooled up. your incomprehension of that fact is absolutely mind boggling. it's a combination of both mate, you can't do anything about the idiots but you can sure as hell do something about the gun. oh and never once have you quoted a source so to me all those numbers you spout are absolute bullshit, at least the ones that I'm quoting come from a peer reviewed source, not some fucking picture I found on the internet.
  9. you're so amped on switzerland but man, won't you be disappointed when you find out they're socialist in a lot of ways :( also, that whole "every man is armed" thing is because they're famously neutral and those men are their citizen militia. you and your guns are not a stand in for the national guard so stop acting like switzerland and you are like, totally BFFs. also, your facts on Australia are completely off. check out the Australian Institute of Criminology stats before you harp on about how our laws have done nothing.
  10. so do you have any ideas on how to decrease gun violence and shootings or are you just here to protect your right to bear arms?
  11. I'm done with AOD, I could only laugh at the assumptions made on his behalf about me and his piss poor attempts at arguing via huge extrapolations. I actually started off by saying gun control wouldn't work in your society because of the amount of guns in it right now, but if you started NOW maybe future generations wont have to lived with the fucked up incidences of mass shootings which lax gun control has part in creating.
  12. so far north you should just keep on going straight through to Darwin and save yourself from this nightmare of a town
  13. yes, you should. i don't believe your defense tool is going to stop someone intent on doing you harm from carrying it out. it's not a deterrent til after the fact. you think that because criminals know that people are armed it stops them carrying out crime? that's what I'm getting when you say that places with gun control laws have gun crime THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF and it's nice that some places restrict things that have no place in the hands of a civilian (in my opinion) but if it's not national ban then it's about effective as pissing in to the wind. so in your eyes the ease of access is not at all a problem that contributes to the levels of violence in your country? that's, quite frankly, retarded
  14. reason for ownership restricted, no high powered semi auto rifles, minimum barrel length on handguns to make concealment harder, training courses in handling of firearms before being issued gun license and/or firearm. that's just off the top of my head
  15. the fact is with the amount of guns already out there it would be extremely hard to convince people who already own guns, ostensibly for protection, to hand theirs in. a buy back scheme would only do so much. The entrenched criminality in the US is going to counteract any attempt to control gun violence. It might stop people who aren't stable getting their hands on them but that will only prevent tragedies like this, not the everyday tragedies of shooting deaths. I am for gun control, my country went through several high profile shootings that saw a change to gun laws and for the better I think. On the other hand, the cultural differences between Australia and the USA are vast so what worked here isn't necessarily going to do the trick across the pond. Gun control still needs to be implemented at some point to save future generations from going through the same thing. Eventually all those guns in the hands of criminals will be come unusable but without gun control laws they will be able to simply get another. Basically, the fact that the 2nd amendment was placed in the constitution pretty much created this problem. good luck finding a viable solution that pleases anyone.
  16. thank fuck for fuel cards, where abouts in WA are you?
  17. does your girlfriend's car still have training wheels?
  18. First off, RIP to the dead and condolences to their families and the wounded gun crime happens>we need guns to protect ourselves!>no change to gun control laws>repeat lives are lost and families are torn apart and nothing changes To allow such a widespread sale of guns on a national level invites disaster. this is the perfect time to be talking about the proliferation of arms amongst a civilian populace and the problems that creates. "now is a time for mourning" is just a convenient way to not discuss the issues and hope in time that this is relegated to one of those "oh yeah, i remember that" things.
  19. i like that one song which uses another song in it to make it sound better. yeah.
  20. just because you can doesn't mean you should
