Did not think about that...I mean they did bring out that Todd has the jar. Maybe it will be the big todo towards the end. Or it could help Walt and/or Jessie when the heat gets really bad to shift the stolen chem totally onto Todd and his families crime ring. Either that or Todd is going to get killed and huge heat from a whole other area will come Walts way, which would explain the gun in Ep 1. As for the note pad...I keep going back and forth as to whether or not its a bad thing. I mean the first guy had the lab notes. It does show that Todd has a want to learn and a dedication to it all. Plus showing he doesnt care about money and just cares about the cause could just be that hes like "When youre big and at the top, remember what I did for you." I understand mikes need for financial closure over the whole deal. I think since Fring died Walt really screwed up Mikes real plan. I think Mike was happy with Fring and the security he found there but unhappy he was still in the Biz when it came to his grand daughter. I think he still had a plan to get out and was so close to doing so but then Walt killed Fring. So really I dont think it was over all greed that made him compromise his principles. I think it was the drive to just get a set amount of money for his grand daughter and disappear. Walt just kept getting them into more long lasting business relationships that kept making it harder to be free from it all.

So much to consider from the latest ep. I kinda lost the ability to forshadow in this episode. Then I read the last two pages of this thread and it gave me some ideas. Definitely did not like that Todd was taking notes AND that he didnt care about the money. Not to mention he was nonexistent in this episode till the end and you were like OH SHIT theres Downy. But the fact he doesnt care about the money just shows that he probably has some other plans in the end. I mean Freigns Blue has been around and there are probably a huge amount of criminal groups that want a piece of the pie if not the whole thing. Walt calling Jessie out about being ONE of the TWO best cooks is bad, so bad. He basically signed his so to be death certificate. I mean he straight up said "hey, if you ever need leverage on one of us you know where and who." Although I will say Walt was right. Jessie needs to stay in the business. Hes already proved in past eps that he will just return to using and a crap life. Being a criminal and cooking gives Jessie that rush or therapy that keeps him from using. I mean same principle goes for people in the real world. Jessie though had a vindictive look when he left so Im sure unkindness will come about from all that. Yet, even when he tries to be crazy bad hes always would turn into a softy and panic during the whole situation and then screw up. And if he tries to run up on Skyler....Im sorry shes a big woman...Jessie has no chance of over taking her if she flexes on him. Walt struck fear in the other drug dudes by bringing out that HE was the one to kill Freign etc. Fear came about and the Alpha dog asserted its dominance. The other guys didnt realize what was going on. Killing mike was awful...I was like ARGH NO! Yet you could see Walt acted to quickly and didnt realize what he was doing. I though ok, if he really is that angry and wants this then hes going to walk over to him and BLAM! to the dome, but he didnt. So yeah opps, way to go walt. This though will start some serious crap with Jessie cause Jessie is NOT going to be happy at all. Things will be going down hill from there. How will Walt explain it? He went to get the car. He was supposed to meet Mike. He was the absolute last person to see Mike. There is no way around this one. I think thats all.

Fresh figs from one of ma trees pureed Turned into a preserve with orange zest. With Crackers and goat chz toast, fig preserve and goat chz....so awesome. simple dough, fresh fig, carm onions, goat chz, bals reduc, and procuitto finish product....was ok. I think it had to do with my type of fig Left over procuitto, tomato, and fresh spinach, 3 eggs OM sunny side up over top. and some bals reduc. yeah yeah i zig zag BECAUSE its the easiest. Leftover meal. Some roteserrie chicken with onion, garlic, and wilted spinach. side of tomatos and bals reduc. I dunno but just as of late I love me some fresh tomatoes.....

Maybe Walt will find a way to mask the meth biz behind grey matter like how Freign did with Pollos Armanos. Mike has harped that it took Freign 20 years to establish his company etc yet Walt in a sense has already had that there but lost his control due to his FIRST sell out. There is a battle though when it comes to Gretchen. Gretchen was a two way chick with Walt and the other guy. She chose to go with the other dude and not walt for some reason. So its more than just the money thing, I think walt is after the full revenge. Walt has come a long way and of course has changed. Hate it or not what is the name of the show? Breaking Bad! No matter what direction Walt might want to go he continues to break bad and affected as such. Hes dug deep and continues to dig himself deeper and deeper in the whole "bad" aspect.

I can see that coming about when it comes to Todd competing for the whole "son" attention between him and Jessie. Although Jessie never really acted out that personality. Still though, this show has showed you can not fore shadow with success. I mean right now Im eating my words from a couple of day ago. I posted that Todd must be a cop. Unless its one of those undercover "i hate myself" situations....like I was undercover once and I HAD to kill a kid, then enter emotionally traumatized ex cop wreaking havoc. Train heist was tense though. I was happy to have SOME action this episode. I had a lot more to say but the cheap wine has caught up to me and Im tired of typing...deleting...and retyping just to sound somewhat coherent.

Yeah Todd is straight suspect. I mean most shows portray undercover cops that over step their boundaries which is exactly what Todd did from the start. Plus hes clean cut and looks fresh out the academy. Skyler is really starting to piss me off though. Shes almost becoming self righteous about everything. I mean did you forget you were Walts right hand gal hiding all the cash? What now you want to play goody too shoes? Youre in too deep. I will say though something came to mind after the 4th episode. Hank is climbing the ladder on the legal side. Its almost like Walt climbs then Hank climbs. I wonder if Walt will break and maybe go shady a bit. I mean will he be able to bust Walt? Will the whole idea of it being family come into play. Remember how he is so emotionally traumatized by killing that one dude, then the explosion? He plays a big game but I dont think hes 100% hard core. ....maybe Walt and Hank full control in the end?

I would be severly disappointed if they play it off like scarface. I mean hollywood has already copied enough. That would ruin this show because the show has already proven its smarted than that. I think Jessie still is soft in one aspect and has yet to really see the trouble that is to come. He trusts mike, yet mike it safe guarding more than just himself but his connection with his granddaughter. Cant hate on mike though, dude is ill. Remember skyler had the pants and pushed walt around a bit. Now shes lost her hold on it all and shes hit rock bottom. Walt has dominated the whole situation and shes been ground to nothing. True but Mike wont break. I think Lydia is genuine but over her head. As for the tracking device Im sure it wasnt her. She played it right plus Hank had already used some garmin bs back in the earlier seasons. So whats to say he didnt do a quick plant?

Yeah there has always been the evolution of him becoming a kingpin. Hes growing. Its like now hes in his teenage years blowing his cash, making the right moves, but being slopping in some aspects because hes blinded at the moment. The down and out clip when hes 52 could be the breaking point where he matures to the point of Fringe and gets exactly how shit should be done. Who knows. I do like how even though some aspects of this last season is a bunch of talking there is still a psychological level to it all. Yet like many I hate that Hank doesnt see Walt for what it is. I mean the dude is leasing a bentley because he owns a car wash....yeah not likely.

people hating on Sweetwater and Terripin. Theyre good beers that can be found anywhere depending on the areas. They add to the selection of the "i just need a beer store" when I cant make it to a specialty store. The Yuenglings of micro brew. Although I will say Terripin pissed me off when they took their Hop Karma Brown IPA from a 6 pack to a 4 pack and kept the same price. Good beer but the only way Im paying 9 bucks for a 4 pack is if its an Imperial. There are exceptions. Had this recently. Not a big experience. Expected more nuttiness and malt. Very light and smooth. Easy to drink Picked this up for like 2 bucks at Trader Joes. Not bad. Smooth and malty. I expected it to be heavier. Sweet being a higher grav.

It looks to be some what consistent. I get you though. I used to hate it when I was younger and when spaghetti was made with the sauce being not enough. I remember I used to lift the lid to see if I saw too much pasta color. Needs another can of sauce mah!!!

Nice! thanks. Its just cheap pork, all I could find, and really I couldnt make up my mind on a protein choice. Still stuck cooking with devices that require this.... Had to do a whole double boiler set just for cheese the other day...hating every minute without a stove...asparagus was in a toaster oven. Cant always hate because its not always bad.

I got some grouper from work and had some peaches left over in the freezer. So yeah grouper and some peach sauce over top. Used some mango butter in there as well. Should of reduced it a bit. Oh well Blue chz sweet mash. Asparagus. Pork topped with a fresh nectarine salsa and a side of a tangy spicy plum reduc. Wish I could plate better. everything but the sweet mash worked really well together flavor wise. Oh yeah and gotta love the large glass of wine ahah

SO its been a minute since Ive posted. Probably have tons but this is what I got from my ipod so far...nothing special.. SO the neighbor dropped off some fresh peaches from their trees and might I say they were FANTASTIC! I had some tequila in the freezer cause I was tryn the whole lime/tequila/beer mixture..not bad. Being the boozer I am I decided to cut up three peaches and soak them in the tequila.... After I squeezed them out Peach Tequila and Sprite...pretty tasty. Took the infused pulp and two other peaches to get a lil puree to make a pate. cubed and half dredged in granulated and the other powdered. I guess its always good to have a huge ball of danish blue cheese vacuum sealed in your freezer for everyday use. Got all free from work SCORE! some added to this... End result and nice creamy sauce Over some chicken, with fresh diced roma, pasta and broc Kitchen remodel has left me without a stove so Ive been stuck with skillet cooking...not bad though, quick heat yet its not distributed well.

This is why I watch a lot of foreign films. I get sick of every twist or straight remake that hollywood does. I mean Girl with the dragon tattoo for example, the foreign film/book didnt even finish its famous run before hollywood picked it up and made a copy. Doesnt matter if the movie is fantastic or not, it shouldnt be done. I heard about the hunger games through a girl I work with because she was the leads double, but then I saw such similarities between that and Battle Royale and I was like wtf... oh well.

Yeah I was thinking hmmm I just posted cheese and apples in the meals thread. Freaking delicious. Isnt sharp cheddar over some apple pie like real old school?
