I dont care girl or guy you walk in on someone beating the crap out of your friend, theres water all over the floor, broken glass, a head or two (still alive mind you) wet on the floor, an open cage, a dead zombie 8 yr old, and oh how did she miss the WALL OF FISH TANKS WITH HEADS! I mean does anyone remember the fish department of your local pet store....that crap isnt quiet. I would hope in anyones right mind the confusion would make you take a minute before you even took sides in the situation. Then you got the guy on one end of the situation is hugging, crying, and mumbling over a dead zombie 8 yr old INSTEAD of seeking medical attention for the knife size shard of glass in his eye! Come on Andrea the sex isnt THAT good. Time to put him on the same list as the dude you lost your virginity too back in highschool, The Regrets and Could of Done Better List, and move on. Im all for checks and balances but what is with the show killing off one black dude to bring in another? Its like oh man this one is bigger than the last dude is he going to go zombie or just take a bullet. And if there is more than one you know the demise of one of them is coming quick. Shall we consider Michonne, oh Michonne you tough lil cookie you. I find it hysterical how much her demeanor changes the minute someone else pulls her blade away from her. i think people are just hating on her, theyre jealous! they remember back in the good ol days buying, what they thought was awesome, blade from the flea market for 200 bucks and it breaking on them once they got home and started swinging it around. Yet, Michonne has butcher status on her non-novelty slice and dicer. Poor girl just keeps getting it taken from her. Carl, the kid with the RIDICULOUSLY sized silencer to his pistol. jay-z talked about a hard knock life but I do believe Carls got him beat, sorry jay-z. Not too mention hes thirteen right? and you know hes pulling that blonde chick! Way to go buddy, its the end of the world and besides the zombies, horrific smell of death everywhere, and well...yeah putting a bullet into your mother your not doing half bad. Ok character focus aside, one thing they really dont show reality wise is the smell of death. I mean come on youre living inside a jail with corridors filled with death bodies, you got them walking around your fences, and everyone in your crew hasnt showered...EVER! and ever more so youre clothes are saturated with blood.How do you not puke on a daily basis? Its like when they did the zombie fight thing that one night. Sure its all fun and exciting but once that east wind blows your way...dinnah is coming right up. Even again when it comes to Andrea this time being in her office sipping on awesome bourbon how did she not smell the decaying Govnahs daughter a room over? I mean know he was combing her hair and all but I really hope he wasnt giving her showers, visions of cabin fever all over again.

  3. Every time i see this thread i question if I have missed something (technically that counts as 1) Story is I never knew how to snap my fingers till tenth grade. When I was younger I thought it was the pointer and thumb so it never really worked, so i said fuck it and never did it. idle conversation years later brought it up and through many laughs my error was corrected. yet, being years behind snapping my fingers and doing the whole flat hand fist pop thing became a constant thing i would do while idly waiting or when I was deliberating. I snap fingers like a beast now lol sometimes ill leave clean clothes on top of my covers cause the weigh on my lower body helps me sleep...
  4. So I had two pieces of sea bass right....Wanted to try something outside my usual. Yet I love using fruit and booze. So i did a Pomegranate, Ginger, Chili Sake sauce. At the end of the day I could of done without the sake. It really gave nothing to the sauce nor did it take anything away. In between cooking these two back to back I was doing a pitfire out back so i had a lot going on. Forgot to thicken the sauce a bit more before plating. Still not bad. Second. I had a extra crab cake and a usual I love to cook is prosciutto asparagus. Something that always catches my eye when watching cooking shows or restaurant shows is that runny yoke atop steaks etc (what is it called?). So i was thinking Oscar-esque with this one. I guess you could say it was a deconstructed Hollandaise. I did a trial run earlier in the day with some lemon butter and a runny yoke. Not sure why my butter came out dark second time around, I did use a different pan than the first time. It still tasted good, lil to much lemon though. And too much sauce on the plate. enjoying having a new camera also
  5. those were actually my works crab cakes, we use lump crab. I snatch them up anytime I can when its a night we cant sell them anymore, Im a vulture like that. Plus theyre some tasty crab cakes. Got me some chilean sea bass that Im cooking up tomorrow. Love me free food, especially the stuff I wouldnt normally buy everyday. Gives me a chance to experiment without actually having to spend a lot on proteins.

  7. just watched this. not bad considering it was a hand held camera the whole time. The ending kinda ruined it by being so quick and corny.
  8. lox for dinner roasted a peppers with some onion and some garlic all veges blended up together with some curry spice. got some chicken and goat cheese on some toasted bread along side. edit*** tried and cant fix the stupid last pic

  10. I would think for starters light cant penetrate the can, cans cool quicker, and probably once set up its cheaper and less taxing on the environment. I know that is the one of the main pushes to have Stelvin Enclosures (twist caps) used on wine bottles is because of the overall abundance of aluminum and the less cost.
  11. Wow didnt think I would rub some the wrong way by my tacky comment. Didnt really mean to offend. I guess its just the amount of space thats taken up. I did know someone that keeps all the labels in a big folder behind laminate. Thought that was nice.
  12. Mikeller Chipotle Porter is awesome. I had one but drank it the night I bought it. The heat hits you far back after you finish the sip. Ive this dude the other week was at my bar and talked up the pliny beers liked they were one of the best beers ever. I dont think I can get them where I live. The guy had a ridiculous beer bar at his home with all the bottles saved from each beer he had, hundreds, I find that tacky but just from the amount Id probably trust any recommendation.

  14. was actually coming into this thread to post this beer. Probably one of my favorite winter/xmas seasonals. Lagunitas stick to their IPA primary and deliver a nice smooth hop and that 9.9% is not even noticeable. I just hate the cherry, cinn, all spice, mumbo jumbo that goes on this time of year and Brown Shugga always keeps me out of those flavors, happy, and buzzed. plus you rarely find high gravs, especially at 9.9%, in 6 packs....4 is usually enough but if you really are looking to get tanked.
  15. Man I came back into some issues with a post. I posted my food and was like oh i see the thread moving a bit thats good. Come into nothing but text, "where are the pics??" I thought lol. Whether my opinion counts or not i agree with farce in what he was trying to achieve. Seeems like at the end of the day everyone was butt hurt over the color. Keep it rolling! Ive been eating nothing but the quick and filling...cheapo shiiit as of late.
  16. I always forget if Ive posted some pics before. Oh well. So basically its a sherry cream sauce with cayene pepper, lumb crab meat, and lobster claw meat.....Benedict style! so good. Didnt have any english muffins so I used some wheat french bread. Beer brats with a very oversized bun. I can never find the perfect size...hotdog buns too small....hoagie rolls too big.... Had this out one night, awesome cheese. Red Dragon. Sharp cheddar with mustard seeds. Black berry spice and sage jam went very well.
  17. I work with a dude who will take some pepperoni pizza and dip it in honey. Ive yet to try it but he and some others who have say its great. I still dont know about it. + +

  19. nothing fancy. Just saw this thread almost hitting second page listing, cant be having that! poor mans caprese chipotle deviled eggs bacon and tomato with chili mustard. realized last minute the spinach I had was going bad... had another bag of spinach I knew I wouldnt finish before it went bad so last night I figured Id use it all up in some spinach dip..
  20. co-worker came back from nashville and brought back these two. I like the dos perros a lot. it had the spanish style beer taste, darker and deeper, but with a nice maltiness to it.
  21. guku I like it when you dont have the white space. SOmething about the white space gets me. Ive thought a lot as to why and I think its because its not symmetrical or equal. Maybe because its scattered or something makes me see your work as unfinished or not having balance. I like everything else. I just cant get over the white space.
  22. it was ok. I kinda didnt like the kid and the future he had yet he treated his dad like some regular daily clucker.
