  1. Yeah Ive been using the Ipad pro as well. I've rather enjoyed my time on it. The Adobe apps in my opinion are garbage. Adobe really dropped the ball by not having some nice full function apps ready for that release. Procreate has some really nice power behind it, although not vector. Autodesks Graphic is actually a nicely powered app for the pro. One that eluded me for a bit and I recently stumbled upon it was Concepts. A very nice and regularly updated and improved app with some interesting functions behind it. One main thing that Concepts has Graphic beat on (for me at least) is you can manually adjust how much you want it to Simplify you line after drawn and the vector registers better when free handing the line. Im an old school Fireworks guy and I always prefered creating the vector line, simplifying, and pushing it around until it was the desired curve.

  2. A tomato tree is growing . Its not male or female. Its just a tree. Letz call it male. Now the season change .The flowers are ripening into red tomatoes. The tree itself feel different from within . The structure is same only the feelings are different . Its blushing like a woman. But wait . Its not going to last like this. Soon the tomatoes will fall. Aloha its a male again,(ref. Man is the extension of woman)

Youre trying very hard to prove a point but this example is out right ignorance. This is a person that wrote a book that should be someone intelligent, yet fails to know the most simple bit of information of plant reproduction. They're so eager to prove their point they misapply facts in doing so.

  3. Word. I dont think I could do the Century Eggs. I cooked up one of my eggs recently, a lil early, but didnt notice much difference. I did get some aromatics from the outer most white. Another factor is Im using plain store bought chicken eggs. I should of just bought the ducks eggs I came across at a local Asian store. Ive heard of the tea eggs but not soy sauce eggs. I will definitely add that too the list. I just moved to the Birmingham area and Ive been trying to get a bunch of test/experiments going so that the time lapse doesnt seem so long between batches. They talked so much about seasoning an egg from the outside in I really wanted to see just how much of that flavor penetrates. Ive noticed salted eggs with dessert applications and I dont do desserts much but have been wanting to do more. I was considering a test with adding raw cocoa beans and coffee beans to a salted egg brine. Coffee and cocoa both have salted applications then using the eggs for a hollandaise with an infused balsamic with the same aromatic seasonings. Then in turn using the hollandaise for a tiramisu. I dunno could be horrible, could be good lol.

I had a recent meal that wasnt an over all success but I will revisit it. Did a chipotle scalloped sweet potato (gochujang, chili/garlic sauce, heavy cream, salt, pepper) which was a bit too saucy but tasted pretty spicy and rich. Ive had a steam juicer for YEARS and havent used it one bit so I figured why not steam a whole chicken in it? ginger garlic steamed chicken tossed with heavy amount of cilantro. Blistered tomatoes in an orange juice/curry sauce and finished with a maple tahini sauce. I kinda rushed a bit and lost which direction I wanted each sauce to go.

Although I will definitely be steaming more chicken in the future. I got about 4 cups of some pretty nice chicken stock that fell down into the funnel catch of my steam juicer. Decently strong flavor. Could make a chicken soup outright without any more additional flavor.

  4. Oh yeah definitely I swear I smell szechuan in my sweat lol. I was thinking of grinding down a small amount to incorporate into a rub. But yes a very small amount because of the potency those lil guys have. I wanted to do the same dish again but along with the orange ginger marinade actually do a powdered rub with added zest. I love the lemon like flavor that the szechuan has along with the pungency. Its new to my spice rack so Im more than likely going to use it till I get sick of it or find a new avenue.

Reason why I went out of my way for them to begin with is because I wanted to give making Salted Eggs a go. Been eyeing them in the asian markets for some time and then the recent Lucky Peach brought them back up so I wanted to see what they were all about. Plus it seems the spectrum of uses for salted eggs goes across the board so that was another thing that made me desire a test batch.

  5. Guess Im the only one with time these days. Welp this thread keeps me going so Im going to keep it going... Pork all day every day cause its the cheapest out there next to chicken. Ginger Orange marinated boneless pork rib with s szechuan peppercorn crust topped with sweet and spicy squash (allspice, clove, curry powder, mustard, black pepper, dried chili, brown sugar, garlic, sweet onion, apple vinegar). Served over cauliflower rice with soysauce, seasame oil, cilantro, green onion, grape tomatoes. I think it came out great. If I revisit Ill grind down the szechuan to a powder. I tried to separate some of the husks to keep out the berries but one or two got by and it was like hitting stones lol. Oh and prepare the sweet and spicy as a sauce then add to squash to finish.

  6. I moved and havent had a chance to cook anything outside of beans. Dont get me wrong I love beans but.... Yeah. Black Garlic/Balsamic Country Style boneless pork ribs. Strawberry/Raspberry/Lemon grass salsa. Basil Coconut milk risotto. I used sushi rice instead of arborio and it seemed to work just fine. I think I nailed most of it but made the mistake of skimping on some fresh herbs for the pork. I had some cheap italian seasoning that I used... gave it an off taste. I should of just bought fresh sage... oh well.

  7. Pause play pause play all day lol. I could never lock myself into a book. I got so used to doing sheets of paper and trashing when the vandal days were strong. Lifes pulled me away from such things and now when I do anything I still just use sheets. Plus reams of paper are cheaper than books. I havent done anything "real" in a while. Been working on stupid sayings to make money off of. Gotta kick something that means something soon. But Ill contribute something....

  8. Been a minute....

Was heading through ATL and dropped off at a Super H Mart and was pleased to see scallops by the pound. Only thing I can get in my area are those big expensive bags of frozen crap. Not saying these were great by I grabbed five and called it a day. Not the best sear but Seared Scallops over a Gochujang Duck egg hollandaise. Crispy pork belly bits. Thai basil oil. Sauteed Ong Choy and lotus root with lil mini blooming onions.

Some very pathetic sauteed shrimp. I mean they shrunk like crazy, i was pissed, oh well. Rice mound thingy. Thin sliced cucumber, radish, and tangerine with a blueberry cilantro lime sauce and feta cheese.

  9. That though ^^^ can be eaten everyday, day in, and day out. Its clean and fresh. Theres a gap between different meals. The only time I get sick of something is if I get stuck eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the same day. When it comes to health and physical shape Ive known dudes that stir up canned tuna fish and water then chug. Im not about that. Im not over weight but at the same time Im not going to turn eating food into purely automated necessary consumption devoid of enjoyment...

  10. Stumbled across Rice Burgers and was like whaaaat I gotta try that!! So I did. Teriyaki Chicken Rice Burger with some Asian Slaw. Now I usually go the route of saying what I cooked was ok but this was delicious! The Sriracha was just done for decoration but turned out a plus as it heated the whole ordeal up awesomely. The rice buns tend to still fall apart a bit but stick together well. MOS Burger in Japan that makes these things uses Nori on the inner side of in the buns to give better strength. Supposedly these things are inspired from Onigiri. I will continue my obsession for a bit with these things...

  12. YES! Ugh Ive always hated clothes shopping. Now I just know the right size depending on manufacturer and I swoop in and swoop out with what I need. Although Ive always hated malls in connection with clothes shopping. I hate labels on shirts. Something like a simple polo, which I dont wear much anymore, and then BAM! right on the chest is a pointless stitch of the brand label.

Since clothing is a subject. The Price of clothing. The quality of clothing. Something as simple as an undershirt has pathetic quality these days. I dont remember my white undershirts being so thin and getting little holes in the fabric after 2 washes back in the day.

When youre in the shower and theres a draft that pushes the wet cold shower curtain and it sticks to your leg.

Dr. Oz, I only see ads for him, but how crazy his followers can be when it comes to his advise. Hes just a marketing pusher for the food/health trends. Just like Opra.

Being looked down upon because you dont wish to serve in the military. As if youre this worthless cog in the grand machine of the government because you dont serve in the military. Not saying all military people act this way, but a large group does.

  13. I thought it was moved or something. I dont usually look down the line and it showed as the recent thread for channel zero twice. Oh well. Move it, merge it, or delete it if theres more than one Caligula. Its not my thread, no skin off my back.

  14. The False representatives of said faith dont demonstrate that.

Considering what is said in Matthew 7 you could rightfully say that these mega churches are among those of false religion stated in the bible. "“Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men." So to examine the actions of said churches and many aspects of religious leaders and relate them to the "fruits" they produce you can tell that they fit with the "ravenous wolves" of false prophets. 2 Corinthians 11 also helps with "And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light.15 It is therefore nothing extraordinary if his ministers also keep disguising themselves as ministers of righteousness. But their end will be according to their works."

Its more than accepting into the heart, James 2 gives a good understanding that its not by faith alone "Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it?" "19 You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder. 20 But do you care to know, O empty man, that faith without works is useless?" The contrast is very good. The demons know God, they are Angels that turned against god, so surely theyve seen the proof in the pudding yet their works are what is bad and have made the choice. Even for us the bible speaks many times using works like "exercise" "exert yourself" "indure" all words promoting action.

Gods plan isnt so mysterious. Religious leaders today want people to think that the bible cant be understood. Far from it. 1 John 5:20 says Jesus has given his disciples the "undertsanting, that we may know what is true." Some translations render it "mental perception" intellectual capacity" or "insight." As for screwing people over thats not Gods fault. 1 John 5:19 says the world is lying in the power of Satan. It was Satan that started it all. James 1:13 clearly says that for evil things God cannot be tried. God might allow things to happen but the scriptures speak of him as the "living god." Likening it to the fact that nothing is impossible for him so what can man really do to us. Jesus foretold that his righteous followers would be persecuted and hated so it would be something to expect. Satan at 1 peter 5:8 is called a roaring lion seeking to devour someone. So of course an adversary like that would do all he could to cause harm to is enemies followers. Its not a grim outlook. There are many areas in the bible for encouragement and guarantee of provision, care, and protection from God. Its not like hes just saying oh well hey whatever. Ecc 9:11 Shows that God doesnt cause things to happen as some consider fate "11 I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle,+nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all."

I guess the last question is somewhat answered within the others. God gave mankind free will so man will chose a way of life. Jesus talked about a time where the world would get increasingly bad before the declared End would come. False prophets, people leaning on their own understanding, degradation of human morals, war, increased poverty, pestilences, food shortages, increased earthquakes, etc. Kinda looks like our world today. But the bible also talks about a rise in true knowledge behind the bible, a growth of faithful servants, how the love of the greater number would cool off, and how Gods true followers could be noticed.

  15. The tithe is something churches abuse in the scriptures to make money. The tithe was originally set up through the mosaic law to provide for the Levites. The Levites did not receive an inheritance in Israel so God commanded the Israelites to give one tenth of their produce to support the Levites. The reason being because the Levites maintained priestly duties etc. Money though was not a commandment of the tithe. It was for grain, fruit, live stock etc. Money could be given if the person chose to do so but they would have to give an additional fifth. There also wasnt a punishment if someone failed to tithe. God gave them the commandment under strong moral responsibility. Jesus being an end to the Law has removed the guidelines of the tithe. Christians at Pentecost 33 ce became part of a new spiritual priesthood that was not supported by tithes.

Proverbs 3:9 says to Honor God with your valuable things, but it can be applied in a broad sense to our stengths, talents, time, along with material.

Jesus stated in Matthew "What you received free, give free" so surely providing spiritual food via ministry shouldnt cost people. He even told a scribe that wanted to follow him "But Jesus said to him: “Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head.” So Jesus, the primary role model for all christians, didnt lead a life full of things.

2 Corinthians 9:7 states "Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" so its not a guideline of a tenth, twentieth, or 3.95767 th but what a person chooses to provide. You could even use the example of the poor widow. She gave two coins of small value. Jesus said she gave more than any others because she gave out of her Want and not out of her Surplus.

The Apostles provided for themselves in the ministry. Paul was a tent maker and worked as one. In 1 Thess 2:9 he states "Surely you remember, brothers, our labor and toil. We were working night and day, so that we would not put an expensive burden on any one of you, when we preached the good news of God to you." He led the example of not putting a burden on people for the ministry.

The Mosaic law might have been done away with after Jesus but Laws are based on principles so the basis behind them can still be applied to Christians. In Romans 15:4 can be applied to still applying the OT along with NT "For all the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope" Also 2 Tim 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness"

  16. Had to re-read my post last night...too much red wine....

Yeah I REFUSE to do anything with a brush pen or that haggard ink stick look. I just dont find it appealing. I know some people have been using instagram as a selling platform along with exposure. Theyll "list" the product on instagram with a price and leave directions to Direct Message pay pal info for payment. Ive been meaning to give it a try but I just dont feel like having to log in log out of multiple accounts. Lol I guess Im lazy.
