just rip out the insert on a stock walmart cap. it's fat as hell. good for a large area.

cardboard is bad for clean edges. walmart has this stuff called stencil blanks that make clean edges but for a SUPER CLEAN EDGE that's one time use, use vinyl from a sign shop.

I wrote my tag wit sper glue and smeared dirt on it. Also if you tag on Blacktop with shving cream, it last for months even when hosed off.
