Those trains were so fucked-up insides-outsides it's incredible. It's so raw, so apocalyptic, it's the beautiful rotten-core of NY.

That's what i wanted to say... 1983 was a good year if i'm right, lot of good cars were running...No?

I met an old man two days ago while i was painting along a river. He was making a "Tour de France", walking from his home down South to the North. We talk half an hour about nature and stuff, and he told me he first met graffiti in New York in 1983, seeing them on trains... I told him "sir, it's the dream of a lot of graffheads like me to have seen what you've seen live"...

You can see it again at 18:35, in fact it's a two line serie! I had never seen that before.
