Bullhorned my Raleigh... I'm really enjoying doing 20-30 mile rides on this bike. Very comfortable and snappy.

Smuttonator is great. If you can't get ahold of it in your area, PM me I'd be happy to trade.

Been buying much more than drinking the last few months. Here's some flicks of the current stash.

I picked up my first fixed gear today, 2008 Raleigh one way, with a flip flop rear hub but I don't plan on riding the freewheel. Immediate plans are for clipless pedals and ditching the rear break. The chainring seems a bit on the small side too so I'll probably address that shortly as well. Here she is: And side by side with my cross check:

The Yeti is alright, but Great Divide has to be one of the most over rated breweries in the country, IMO.

I'm just an observer here. But I don't see how it is appropriate for 12oz to go posting on their front page "free wyse, wyse caught, etc" and linking to the article. As someone who has never met this person, I read the herald story, and to me, it says the police have caught a person they ALLEGE to be this particular writer. My assumption is that this could possibly be the wrong person. Then I come on here, and the moderators of the biggest graffiti website on the internet tell me, yes, in fact that IS wyse. This is some shit that I don't need to know, and that the police DEFINITELY don't need to be told. Then they further add insult to injury by posting his top 12 clean trains?!! Sure, these flicks are pulled from this forum and are already in the public domain. But for all the cops know, these could be panels done by joe shmo copycat from east bumfuck wherever, with nothing to do with the guy they caught. And again, the moderators of the biggest internet graffiti website are saying "yes officers, you're right. You got the right guy and here are a few more things he did, just to help your case." There's a code of conduct that forum members are supposed to follow. Do not discuss court cases, writers names, etc. How is it ok for the site admins themselves to go breaking these rules???

More or less a standard export stout, very flavorful, 7.0 ABV. It's their fall seasonal.

Sipping on this right now. Delicioso

I checked November off my "century year" calendar today. Unlike previous rides where I've stopped every 25 miles to pee and stretch, today I did non stop 50 out, stopped for a quick lunch, 50 back. Also on previous rides I have carefully conserved energy on the first half of the ride, today I actually pushed myself from the start, with the wind at my back, trying to better my previous times. I shaved almost 40 minutes off my half-way time, but riding into the wind on the way home, I could barely crack 14 miles an hour. In the end I beat my average time for this ride by about 25 minutes overall, but tonight I'm in a lot more pain than I usually am after a big ride.

I am allergic to peanuts, so powerbar, clif bar, and pbj are all out for me. On centuries I have sometimes brought along a loaf of multigrain bread (pre sliced) and divided between the three pockets on the back of my jersey. Sounds bizarre but I find it both satisfying, and energizing to chow down on a few slices of bread every hour or so.

Nice looking snake... boas are cool, although I personally wouldn't want the responsibility though of eventually having a 10ft+ animal to take care of. My milksnakes will eventually reach 5 or 6 feet, which is still pretty large.

Well, kind of; the hognose does posses a mild venom, but nobody really considers it to be a "venomous" snake like a cobra or rattlesnake. You can free handle it with no real fear, and even an envenomated bite would probably just produce some swelling and numbness. They pretty much never attempt to bite anyway.

Interesting. I'm very familiar with a certain other belgian beer with a pirate on the label, but never seen those before.

A also thought pumpking was disgusting. Dogfish punkin was good... other decent pumpkin beers I had this year:

Not beer, but it's delicious.

Noreaster today, still I intend on riding for my commute to work tomorrow. Perhaps it's time to put my cyclocross tires back on?

I don't think that's har... looks to be more to it?

I got to try both of these last week. One lived up to the hype, one didn't. The heady topper is best IPA I have ever had.

I did 107 miles today in 6 hours, 42 minutes (actual time on the bike, I stopped 3x to pee). This fall weather is perfect for long rides, minus the constant wind, especially along the shore here. On the subject of flats, I'm riding some Kenda touring tires with "Iron Cap" which they claim is some sort of bead-to-bead anti puncture lining in the tire. Nevertheless, some unknown object still managed to puncture the sidewall and blow my rear tire the other day.

The Miriam phase was good as well...
