Yawning Man sounds awesome- What's The Last Movie You Saw: The Sequel
Saw these two If you don't know this trilogy, you've been missing out. Basically some of the most agonizing crime movies ever made. Each film follows the life of a small criminal in a world of shit. If you're into crime movies with a truthful, unglamourized approach (and don't mind the subtitles) this is for you. I can't really recommend the third movie though, I had to stop watching it at one point due to nausea caused by some pretty ridiculous scenes. The second film is the best of the series I think. You can watch each movie separately in any order, althought they do have same characters appearing in them.- Movie Recommendation Thread
Propped for Elephant http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1363883214517046901# edit: There's no indicator which of the killings are done by IRA and which by the Loyalists. The film was made for BBC television originally I think.- 80's-90's MEMORIES

I might be really slow, but I just realized the cops must have a real stash of those witty t-shirts ready when they bring in naked/bloody people.- The Beer Thread

It's funny how best of these "dark" bands (Cold as life, Blood for Blood, Neglect, etc) manage to touch similar subjects with slightly different outlook and approach. I think in this album CAL summarizes something really inherent in personal struggle, looming depression and fear. The soundscape in the album (especially tracks like ten to midnight, police) to me express this ridiculously dim and safeless feeling of urban horror. Reality where no one is safe and everything from family relationships to your own sanity is uncertain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuYrO0aXvcU This tirade may be hard to understand if you didn't see the band live during this certain line-up. The songs really don't sound the same on shitty computer speakers- 80's-90's MEMORIES

I think I had a dream of that beer last weekend /nh. Similar head and color and all. Just the taste in my dream was very faint and low carbonated, which I doubt is the case with that one- · • H A R D C O R E music T H R E A D • ·
Haha, matter of fact I only know like 3 of their songs myself. 5455 being personal favorite- · • H A R D C O R E music T H R E A D • ·

ONE 4 ONE- The Beer Thread
Yeah they had Leffe in sixpacks in supermarkets in Paris. I was more into to pale lagers at the time, so I didn't feel like drinking alot of that stuff in one sitting... But it was really tasty, and for fair price.- gun thread

I think Corona is OK as a beverage, since people drink ice tea, bacardi breezers and other types of soft drinks anyway. The clear bottle just wont do any good to it's beer qualities. IMO there are several cheaper beers just as good, with low carbonation (?) and bland taste. It's ben a while since I had one though... I should try again to see if I can enjoy it.- The Beer Thread
I usually don't drink that many of the expensive beers. Maybe 3 Weissbiers and a couple of duvels and I'm pretty much set. If I want to save money to get drunk off my ass I buy sugar and yeast one week beforehand, and brew my own "beer". It wouldn't be the same as duvel though.- Great Quotes.
Me neither really. And it's out of context. I thought it's a good example of frustrated juvenile atheism. Making your religious mom cry isn't cool in my book- Great Quotes.
