  1. you know sleep problem people. If you go to bed every night

at 9pm and set your alarm for 6:30 am and commit to waking up

and not taking naps you will adjust. It will be annoying but

    eventually it will work.

The first few days you will go all day on little sleep and because

of it by 9pm you will be exhausted.. .

Not saying this plan of mine wont suck but its the best solution.

The alternatives arent so hot either.

From there you can adjust it to what you want it to be. In bed

by 11pm and up at 9 for instance

it just doesnt work that way.

i thought i was back on track after a few weeks of being awake for like 30 hours or more every other day for no apparent reason.

    WOOPS.

it took me 2 weeks to kind of cycle through weird ass hours of wake/sleep to get back to something kind of normal. id wake up at like 2 am and think id be tired at some normal time that night except i wouldnt be and id pass out at like 8 in the morning the next day and wake up in the evening.

i just laid down at like 11 to go to sleep and woke up around 1 and laid there for 2 hours waiting to fall asleep again. not happening.

    here i am!

  2. ^^^^^

we were referring to doing like centuries and high mileage rides, the ridiculous was in the context of attempting those on a single speed.

the convo was getting a SS vs. road

yeah i was just wondering what a ridiculous distance was to some people.

ive been riding 25-40 miles most nights lately. just depends on which way i feel like going when i head out. i ride a ss. its flat here except for some bridges/overpasses so its no big deal. i wanna start riding longer distances. i was shooting for 50 miles the other night but i didnt do it.

maybe next time. ridiculous to me would be more than 50 even though i could do it id be dead fucking tired afterward.

*** and im fat and old.

    haha

  3. i'd like to use it for ridiculous rides, yeah.

Single speeds aren't really my thing...

    whats "ridiculous"?

any of yall have problems with your hands? like with circulation and tingly fingers and what not? lately my hands have been bothering me a lot when im not riding my bike and all i can think is its due to me riding my bike a lot. my hands are pretty vital you know...

  4.

Making a big deal about weed is corny past the age of fifteen or so and is certainly not a good everyday tip.

    weed is fucking lame.

ok no. weed is fine. BUT most people who are all SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY YEEEAH BRO WOO are fucking lame.

yeah thats what i meant to say.

  5.

The more you spend on paint, the better it is...

    who buys art supplies?

the only part of a painting i pay for (if i HAVE to) is canvas. i have never and hopefully never will pay for paints brushes pencils pens inks etc etc etc...

    i just cant do it.

even if its something im selling i cant bring myself to spend ridiculous amounts of money on supplies.

if anyone who buys their stuff ever wants some cheap supplies holler.

    $eriou$ly...:wink2:

    always liked the fiendish stuff.

    mr mcgee super tight.

finally no bullshit splattter bg/deco shitty graffiti pieces.

ill have to come back and post somethin

  6. i ride bikes with this kid who just got a nice masi. but he never rides his bike really. i hate motherfuckers with dope shit that just sits there unused. he has time. and fucking nice bike. what the shit. why spend that much on something.

    whatever.

i ride my bike like a motherfucker and its a piece of shit.

    YEP.

    im steal;ing his bike,

  7. Well, all aesthetic considerations aside... do you have straps on your pedals? If not, put some on there so you don't hit a guy coming down a hill with a red light in the middle and not be able to stop in time.

Put the drop bars the right way because anyone who knows anything about bikes is giving you the stink eye when they see that... and yeah, the saddle, you're good on that sounds like.

I dunno. I'm not gonna lie, when I was new to fixed gears I had a bike not that far away from the homemade Rusto paint job of this one. I guess everyone starts somewhere.

like i said when i posted it its not all together... and the bars are just in there. like i just stuck them in there and left them they arent staying like that. i didnt even notice until i took the picture and i knew someone would say something but its all gooood. im not even riding that bike right now. i just felt like posting a flick.

i wouldnt say im new to fixed gears. ive just never owned one and felt like making myself something. im pretty ok with it. homemade rusto paintjob and all. haha.
