Quick Google search pulled this up from like two days ago
https://screenrant.com/district-10-movie-updates-neill-blomkamp-development-problem/
TLDR; Actor from district 9 said him and the director talk about a sequel all the time and "maybe" after his new movie he's working on, a film adaptation of the video game "Gran Turismo", they might get the ball rolling..
So who knows really.. Also who the fuck asked for a Gran Turismo movie...?
With how popular Drive to Survive made F1 in North America this makes a lot of sense imo. Also there is like 15 F&F movies, the people like them some vroom vroom.

Nah. The analog stuff is genuinely funner/cooler. This shift to AI generated "art" and music is not my jam at all.

I kinda feel bad for boomers. It seems like a lot of them didn’t prepare for the future and were led to believe social security will take care of them. Then once they were nearing retirement age, and started crunching numbers, they realized they’re gonna be totally fucked.
Now they’re hanging on to jobs that should be opening up to a younger generation, and they’re bitter that they can’t have the life of a senior citizen they saw their parents get.
seeing the world change around you and realizing you’re not interested in keeping up anymore is weird. I’m sure a lot of us are feeling it in one way or another. For them they didn’t want to learn computers and email or cell phones…. Forget about things like PayPal Venmo and cashapp. Or Airbnb Turo Uber.
My mom is still insistent on owning a printer. And trying to explain to her tangible copies of documents aren’t needed any longer as long as you have your email password or Google drive is a waste of breath.
What will it be for us?
it kinda seems like millenials are returning to analog in a lot of ways. Film cameras, dumb phones, vinyl. Will zoomers keep it going and toss social media and streaming media aside? Interesting generational/cultural shift at play.
I'd feel bad for boomers except they're the ones responsible for gutting social aid and assistances that would have helped them retire reasonably. That and they're also responsible for their children being the first generation worse off than their parents in a not insignificant amount of time.

It’s legit. When the boomers were in their development years lead was in everything from gasoline to paint etc.
Automobile ownership also exploded in this time, think the number of autos on the road the USA went from ~15-20M all the way up to 125+M over the course of a decade.
What’s also interesting is the chemist responsible for the lead in gasoline innovation also invented CFC’s and is responsible for that hole in the ozone layer.
One single dude responsible for lead addled boomer brains who are the MFers in charge of guiding the world and also one of the biggest environmental disasters ever.

I think 90% of boomers suffer from varying degrees of fetal alcohol syndrome.
Help me do some research

In my experience people get fed up with Unions for 'protecting' lazy workers. I have worked both Union and non in my line of work and prefer to be non Union, but I also work for a company that treats us well. I think Unions are important to keep employers honest (lol, well you know what I mean) and on their toes.

Got made redundant last year April 22nd.
Have some financial resources and have done bits here and there but mostly been stay at home dad on school holidays.
after a year I'm a semi suicidal stay home dad on school holidays who's freaking out because he's not really not getting much response to his CV.
Ahh shoot, sorry to hear that. I hope you start hearing back soon, I know how frustrating that can feel. Something similar happened to me about 3 months after my first was born, not fun.

I just read that Neil Blomkamp (District 9) is the guy who made Gran Turismo so I have some faith its going to be awesome here.
