In my opinion, being sober is being clean from all drugs. I actually did it for a year and four or five months or so. I was on the wrong path, doin the hard shit. A drug is a drug is a drug, as they say. If you have a problem with hard shit & try to jus smoke weed, you're just substituting one for another and it more than likely will just lead back to your drug of choice. It's possible, you just need a support group and surround your self with the right crowd.

Props to all you New York cats. Love this thread. Not only do I love all the graff, old school & new school but I kinda get a look at the grimy N.Y spots. Like old buildings & parks, subways, & track sides. I had the opportunity to visit, but only for a day. I would love to get a better look at the N.Y life style. Like walking the tracks, checking out the high rise apartment buildings, smokin blunts in da park. Maybe I seen too many movies. But anyway, keep doin ya thang. Peace.
