When you say the pencil drawing is way of base with the paintings, what exactly do you mean? Like in terms of style, skill level? The painting is busy, I guess I was just experimenting with personal images and application of paint. Thanks for the criticism, I don't really get much at school.

I watched this Nova show on PBS today about Global dimming. Global dimming is occurring because of particle pollution (everything you can see in the smoke when fuel is burned), and all the little particles are turning into smog and gradually blocking out the sun. It's crazy because global dimming is actually slowing down the immediate effects of global warming, (less sunlight=less heat) but it also does bad shit because the new clouds effect rainfall, causing famine in countries where the monsoon is relied upon. The 1984 famine in Ethiopia, scientists now know was partly caused by the global dimming. China and India, in thier rapidly developing stages, have extremely bad problems with this, because they rely on the monsoon, yet they are emitting tons and tons of particular pollution. Various countries (USA, parts of Europe) have recently began to clean up particle pollution with filtration systems, yet they have made none or very few alterations dealing with greenhouse gas emmissions. So basically, by cleaning up our particle pollution and lessening Global Dimming, we are accelerating global warming. But if we don't clean up the particles, respiritory health will be shit, there will be horrible famine in the countries that house over half the worlds population, and not to meintion we might completely block out the sun. Of course, even though none of this is immediate, my gut reaction is fuck. we are doomed.

I buy coffee beans from a little Itailian store and make my own, or I get it from gas stations and if I feel like paying for atmosphere and a slightly better drink, I go to independent places. No starbucks, they have union issues. But I also have options. Iv'e been drinking black coffee since 5th grade by the way, and really can't go a day without it, it's a worse addiction for me than smoking. A few years ago I was drinking so much that I reached a level of caffiene toxicity in my body and would occasionally pass out. Do not drink more than 32 oz a day, thats what doc said.

Venice is so fucking beautiful. Once you get off the main streets it's like this maze of alleyways that always lead to somthing amazing. I love the hanging laundry too, makes for great pictures. I'll find some of my pics from venice and post them later.

I'm getting mine out in August, luckily I only have three (weird) and they are just little babies. One of my friends had some shifty surgeon who gave him a fuck load of novacaine. He gave me all his vics beacause his mouth was numb for a few days and he didn't need it. Another one kept waking up during her operation, so they gave her a heavy dose of ketamine. One can only wish for a circumstance such as that...

Dailycrunch: THis is how the print trade goin down: So with the print trade it might be cool if everyone who wants to participate sends copies of a photo or two and then recieves on photo back from each person who sent in thier photos. If we did this, one person would have to be the person who got everything and sent everything. I think that might be a cool way for everyone to get a lot different prints from this thread. I think one reason Christiano Ronaldo dives so much (yes I will admit it) is that many players feel that since they cannot beat him, they might as well foul him. His diving ended up hurting him anyways, as he sat on the field with his hands in the air as everyone else ran up the field. Hopefully he learned his lesson. Still a damn good player though, and even with the diving, it's hard to look past that.
