  1. edit for drunken ramblings... The topic is not trivial. That was a poor statement that I made. It was out of frustration. I don't generally like to think that anything is trivial...I did earlier though. The whole argument around all of this seems to take steps away from anything productive. I could be wrong in assuming that though. I simply don't see any large meat producers making any changes. Just as I don't see PETA doing anything very productive either. There is some middle ground somewhere that can do some work... still drunk...don't feel much like trying to make any more sense here right now. My wearing plastic shoes instead of leather doesn't help much either. They won't exactly biodegrade or anything...that is where the guilt comment comes from.
  2. Not eating meat is like being the guy at a party that isn't drinking... Our brains would have never grown to where they are now without the amount of protein we got from meat... Being vegetarian doesn't hurt anyone...directly.... Meat eaters don't hurt veggies...generally Who cares? If such a thing as trivial exists, we could put all of this there. guilt
  3. I think I'd ask the kid that had the bike...that or be fascinated by the fact we are able to walk... i like pedals
  4. ARCEL...I used to be pacman... not a very active poster...just an entertained observer... most of my little town has very little idea of what else goes on in the rest of the world...let alone the world of...whatever this site includes... i had to go get therapy on my wrist from scrolling through this site and working (computer job...) at least my old employer payed and suggested for me to do so.. I can't decide if I'm glad to be posting here again... why not?
  5. those planes are both missing parts of their wings... they go in circles phillip k. dick fans check out " a scanner darkly"... there is a movie coming out(of the book) in the style of "waking life" neat.
  6. ...things have changed here... At least the pink shirts guy is gone... Last thing I remember is some picture seeking (innocence) did... pure fucking apathy...there was a beach... oh and some post of seeking and a gun in a backyard or something...makros still only posted images...the site was different colors...the pessimism still reigned...whatever...
  7. Psychiatry kills...ummm...people have such a hard time accepting responsibility. There isn't one answer to life...at least yet... I'd like to introduce them to a few diagnosed schizophrenics... They can have fun figuring out what to do with people with horrible, unfortunate brain troubles. Drugs aren't good for a lot of people. People seek sanctuary in psychiatric diagnoses...drugs can postpone actually figuring out what people need to do to live with their problems. There are pros and cons to most everything. Shouldn't this be more apparent by now? It's nice to think we can control ourselves and what happens to ourselves, but it can be attributed from fear like other religions? Yay for people having faith at least. Boo for people deciding that there is one "end all" idea. Just enjoy the fact that we are here. Nevermind the reasons...if there are any. Books are more fun when their open anyway. blah blah blah
  8. It's on the internet...it must be true. Beck made the list. Haha.
  9. Brave New World-Aldous Huxley. The Varieties of Religious Experience-William D. James. Both recommended reads for most anyone.
