  1. Wow, this looks epic. Oprah picked it up yet?
  2. Pals Place used to have a yellow canopy. Next to it before it was a golf shop it was a mom and pop drug store that sold X-men comics and where I bought the first issue of Cybernary that I still have. Seattle Supermarket is the first place I saw turtles intended for consumption and where I had my first Bahn Mi. I then ate them at Fou Lee across the street. When I grew up, my dream was to drink at South China. RIP South China and the Jo Jo Lounge. Now we kicks it tough at Beacon Hill Pub and Bush Garden with all the old school Asians that went to Garfield and Franklin. They are brothas and can sing some Earth Wind and Fire like it aint nothing. I'm going to have to PM you a formal introduction since I still want to help you on your project you were talking about. And don't front, you know it is all about HIP HOP 101 Fridays on Public Access!!!!
  3. KIXI 880 AM Also for the Twilight Zone and Mystery Theater! RIP 97.3 KBSG Oldies!
  4. Re: Dear ________, - no homo Dear Phil Collins and Handsome man, You did good! Breakfast was delicious! How lucky am I to have 2 great guys look after me. Chorizo, sliced tomatoes, eggs and coffee. A Very Spoiled, Santana Banana
  5. Art Walk on Capitol Hill every 2nd Thursday (manana) Art Walk in Belltown every second Friday of every month (this Friday) I suggest stopping bu Juju and The Whisky Bar. The Seattle Hostel has it's opening, go check out he rooms, they are amazing. Art Walk in Pioneer Square every 1st Thursday. Bum around Capitol Hill and people watch at Cal Anderson. They do Dodgeball there in the tennis courts. 358 is absolute Grime Factor. And yes Bryson, the man with the samurai sword ended up getting straight shot, not shot with a bean bag like they should have. Seattleites were in an uproar over the whole episode since he was mentally deranged. Southshore swimming pool is where we took swimming lessons.
  6. Re: Dear ________, - no homo Dear Artsy Fartsy, You have officially paid my bills this month. Damn. Thank you and cheers for successful art shows! On top of the world oner, Santarita
  7. Scary Teriyaki for sure! That man is super funny. Bryso love, here is article; http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008733920_webrock11m.html The 7 is not that bad anymore since they split it with the 49. When it would cross over Henderson and Rainier? Man, Rainier Beach used to be nuts. Remember when the #7 was hijacked by that kid? Haha, my sister went to school with him. The 48 too. The 358 Bus. Remember when the driver was shot and it drove off the Aurora Bridge? Read about it; http://www.historylink.org/index.cfm?DisplayPage=output.cfm&file_id=734 (they say 359, but that bus does not exist unless it's a Express for the 358?) Anyhoo, chances are, we"ll run into each other, I have a feeling we know the same crowd or awesome people at that bar. I have good memories of the Turf, but when they used to be in the old Johnny Rockets location. I would go with my grandpa and the waitress would make me milkshakes. Definitely tops in my book.
  8. The Whisky Bar? I might know a thing or two about that spot. Borrachini's? The pink box is the perfect way to let someone know you care. Admiral is good, cheap movie theatre and tall cans for the win. Zats bagels. I swam at Lincoln Park this summer, it was hella cold, but it felt good. Nothing like ocean water. Osaka Teriyaki AKA Dirty Teriyaki, I have been eating there since their 3.49 Special and the Art Bar used to be across the street. Did you ever go into the arcade inside of Fantasy Unlimted? True story, porn and video games. I used to wonder about the movies for .25 cents. What do you know about kicking it at The Turf? I love that diner. It is American Diner meets Philipino Grandma Home with a bar that plays Earth Wind and Fire and James Brown. Genesse, when the #39 went to Southcenter? One of the most epic, ghetto bus rides ever. Beacon Hill's Shell has THE BEST CATFISH. Catfish corner in the CD does not count since they are home to sweet tea and that is a fast way to happiness. Beacon Hill? If it snows I am going down the epic hill of DAWSON. SOUTHEND! Yesler used to be a skid row. They would slide large logs down Yesler into the bay. The old apartments I lived in housed prostitutes back in the day that were later murdered. Yikes. Living downtown is expensive. The Whisky was just remodeled so it's grime factor is definitely coming down. Looks good in there though. Eat at Osaka Teriyaki on Pike which will be 3 blocks South on 2nd. Harass the lovely ladies at Top Pot Doughnuts on 5th for coffee. Or the scummy crust punk doughnut stand in the market. Those doughnuts are HEAVEN. Buffalo Deli is good as well, I believe it's on 1st and Blanchard? Wasabi Bistro has a good happy hour.
  9. This empire of the sun (young christian bale) and this a very long engagement and this looks interesting raising victor vargas
  10. Re: COMPLIMENT THE PERSON ABOVE YOU - no homo You name reminds me of a very distinguished Penguin. Well played sir!
  11. 5 Months? Boo you trippin', we are now in winter till 7ish months. With our weather being all inconsistent. It won't be Spring till April I tell you what! I hope it snows again. Last winter was bananas! I am trying to Snowboard down Jackson.
  12. Si, Central District, close enough to capitol Hill without living in close quarters to the yuppies and frat boys that are now moving in with all the condos and douchy pan-Asian bistros opening on Pike and Pine. Over looking Chinatown, east of 23rd and then North to about Union, fair game. South Park is just as far, but it is mad cheap, if you bike I imagine 20 minute ride for a grown man to make it to Downtown Seattle. But it's industrial, by the tracks and a lot more fun. Ballard? La Isla, the only reason i would venture there. Their Happy Hour is AMAZING. West Seattle is like that too. Although I am liking the West side more and more these days.
  13. On Belay! I used to rock climb in high school, now all I climb are trees.
  14. Hahaha, have you seen his documentary? It's amazing. It tells of his Samurai background and his fathers strict ways. Also the Making of Rashomon is a good one too in the Special Features of the DVD. I an going to start subscribing back to NetFlicks. There are these boxes around town that allow you to rent movies for 1$, but their selection is by popular or new release titles.
  15. If your white you will fit right in. Not bad, there are some fun bars there. Music shows, it is a a ways from downtown Seattle. 2 Buses run there. With Ballard, no one leaves there, it's pretty shut off from the rest of Seattle.
  16. I got this a few years back from my pack rat auntie. it was my fat cousins. It is in perfect condition.
  17. Teeth is a joke. I couldn't stop laughing on how ridiculous it is. In anycase, EVERYTHING BY AKIRA KUROSAWA -Rashomon -Kage -Seven Samurai -Throne of Blood -Kagemusha -Ran
  18. Beacon Hill, the #36 Bus, Texaco station with Capcom vrs Marvel in middle school and painting the backside of Jefferson Golf Course. Central District is good, Twilight bar is good. Too bad Thompson's isn't cracking anymore, we would go to jazz jam sessions there. I personally like Chinatown since all the bars were always cracking with gangsters singing karaoke and mama-sans with awesome stories. And cheap food always. Beacon Hill has only one good bar now, Khazm does a night there every once in a while. The bar menu is a cross between Filipino, Japanese and straight fast food diner, it's amazing. That is the Beacon Skrill for you.
  19. One of my teefs looks like a NY Fat, hahaha Funny man. I did that so you could tell the size relation. But I like them so much, it would be cool if i was made out of them. I really didn't have a problem with them when they were taken out or the aftermath.
  20. okay, but I have to scan them since my phone isn't picking up wifi... please hold
  21. I love yard sales. Treasures to be had for sure!
