  1. Wow. Pretty much all of your work is accompanied by a stupid tag. Sucks for you. Anyway, nice throwup styles. Got any proper OUTLINES? That last one is quite nice, however. Don't like my opinion? Don't post your pictures on a public Internet forum. I win. The end.
  2. A canvas I painted today. This is third canvas I've painted from memory.
  3. Obviously you were referring to my comment, you parrot faced gecko. Learn how to use the quote feature meng! I am sure Tox bombs for his mom, older brother and ex-girlfriend, no to mention bombing to impress the in crowd at high school. :clown2:
  4. That shoe is not a good surface to start out on. Even for a shoe as a surface, it's too dirty and as someone stated already, just UGLY.
  5. Thanks for posting a heap of old flicks most heads have seen a dozen times before. Needless to say, DTS are Kings. All of them. Forever.
  6. "My sentiments exactly ...pure, unadulterated graffiti. Not influenced by magazines, the internet, his peers or even the graffiti around him. Although, you see a slight development from his early years ...only natural I guess." Again, I concur. Tox coulda been born in the '60s and be a New York old-schooler, such is his timeless style. His style and manner of bombing is irrespective of the expectations of other writers and he doesn't fit any mould. He is truly unique and to quote Suicidal Tendencies, "...straight don't give a f*ck!" To me, he's a writer's writer. Not doing it for anything except the sheer joy and for anyone except himself. He clearly has that youthful spontaneity that for my liking has been missing since the heyday of NYC in the '80s. More dirty tags, more ruthless bombing. Long live TOX.
  7. What those guys said. Tox clearly has more style than Cap. Anyone who can bomb that much is a king, regardless of style. Getting into all yards? That's insane. From what I hear, most tube yards are nigh on impossible. Using paintbrushes and all those varying mediums just shows that he'll bomb with whatever he can get his hands on. Big props to Tox. By the way, I'm a foreigner and have no vested interest in Tox.
  8. Scrap cars don't count for anything. Sure, they're fun to paint but you have to paint in-service panels to for it to really matter. We don't even have scraps in my town from what I know. Our fleet of trains is too small for any of them to be scrapped. They always find a way to fix them.
  9. I can't find an online pic of my favourite panels but one of them is an end to end in Berlin (I think) by Mack. Berlin is far and away my favourite steel scene to follow at the moment as they take older, more traditional and technical letterforms and put their own spin on them. Their colourforms are off the hook and the technical abilities of the best panel heads in Germany is insane. This Mack piece, which was in StyleFile Honey, had an end to end background of grey, dreary-looking faces and then BAM, right in the middle of the train, this awesome Mack piece. I can't put it into words but there's something about the German steel scene that I love; their scene seems to correlate the most with the old NYC underground of the '70s and '80s. They burn the blackbooks, they do awesome walls and their panels are proper panels, done in the true tradition of graffiti. They seem to master all the elements of graffiti the old-school way, covering all skills from bombing to burning with whole cars. I love Berlin especially. Can't go past giving mention to the KOC panels FlickOne posted. Both are awesome. The "Kick Off Crew" one is a mad statement and awesome crushing with that old school flavour and definitely fresh characters. Then on the flipside you have the totally original "Kids On Chemicals" panel which is just from another planet. Peyote is for my money one of the most original and funky writers in Australia. Derick is dope; definitely a king of Bratislava but for me, all those guys ruin nice panels with WACK backgrounds. Wouldn't you agree? If anyone here is from Sydney could they send me a private message as I am hoping to visit your fine town soon :)
