I don't drink anymore. But I used to make a lot of booze when I was locked up. I planned to try a more sophisticated batch after I got out, but by then I had already quit.

Food grade, UV resistant buckets (with lids) go for a bit more than 3 dollars. It was a bargain, trust me. The pickles just happened to come with the buckets, and had I wanted to simply dump them and move on I wouldn't have needed to make a thread about it. I was just hoping for some 12oz. genius.

They went bad last month. Probably nothing really wrong with them, but Im not taking my chances. Plus Ill probably never have 150 pounds of pickle again, so I might as well do something worthwhile with them.

Funny thing is, I got them from the foodbank. :cool:

No. Like I said, I only needed the buckets. And you don't need to look for an angle not to call me an asshole, because I am one. :D Also, strangely enough, the buckets with the pickles cost me less than those without.

I considered dumping them all inside someone's car, but I live in a city where I don't know anyone, so that's out. Plus we'd really like some kind of reaction.

20 gallons worth. Each bucket is 40 pounds. So maybe about 150 pounds of pickle.

They're expired. Otherwise I really would have brought them to a shelter or something.

My friend and I recently acquired about 20 gallons of sliced pickles for which we have no use, other than for the buckets which they came in. Nevertheless I can't just waste these things, and if I can't use them for my own entertainment, I will have to give them to people less fortunate than me as a last resort. And of course then, I will be very upset. Any suggestions?
