You might want to consider spraying your can upside-down to release some pressure for outlining and what not. Nothing can beat good can control, but as you mentioned less pressure is definately helpful. To me Montana is just too expensive, and to an extent, can be replaced color-wise through different American brands.

I usually just sketch in my primary fill color already, but if I'm doing something more complicated I also use white color for the sketch. I find it more easier to locate where I need to put everything in afterwards. Its interesting how alot of people here are painting in what I'd think as "backwards". I always was more a sketch, fill, outline, 3-D, effects, clean-ups last.. kind of guy. Hardly do I ever deviate from that order. Guess its time to break old habits and try something new.

Just get a normal respirator and do your customizing to it then... Save yourself the money and health risks.

With those iron-on sheets, I hear the color white doesnt show on the shirts (unless the shirt is already white of course). Is there any truth to this? Btw, how much does it usually cost to start a basic screenprinting setup for shirts? Like the ink, emulsion, etc.

I'm more a 10 dollar clearance jeans kind of guy. I can't see the reasoning in paying that much for a pair of jeans. Sure some brands are better quality/feel/look but when they cost more than 50 bucks, thats just too much imo.
