  1. that shit is way too weak for such a dramatic video!
  2. if your work is good enough, and u know how to sell it, u wouldnt have this problem. i mean, will u pay a crappy or mediocre neurosurgeon, ANY money? i guess the point should be rather that companies shouldnt hire half ass artists. but meanwhile if ur portfolio is weak, then why not use that opportunity to freshen it up with some work for a company even if it doesnt pay...so everything is just the way it should be!
  3. writers that are rich may experience graffiti differently, and be even more drawn to it because graffiti will make them do things they would never do otherwise. if u've been hustling on the street all ur life, then graffiti won't offer u much more than u've already exerienced, however if you've grown up in a nice neighborhood, and have never had to work hard to get anything...graffiti will be a thrill, something out of the ordinary. and yes rich kids do have it easier, but does it make them less of a writer? no! nothing's stoping you from getting rich, you just gotta trade the passion you have for graffiti, for passion for making money! im not rich or even well off, but do plan to become one day!
  4. these will keep me busy for a while, hopefully ill learn something and post some work in the future. thanks!
  5. so i was just about to order the adobe classroom for illustrator cs2 when i started having doubts. maybe web tutorials are enough? if so what are the best ones you know? but the problem with those is it seems most of tehm are very specific and for a beginner like me i have no clue what i need to start with. my goals are to be able to take my drawing skills digital, and perhaps freelance a bit once i get the hang of illustrator and photoshop. so whats a good plan for learning illustrator? PS sorry if this is a repeat question, but from what i searched i didnt find anything.
  6. crack one sketch...not the name i write
  7. that is what seperates traditional graff from 3d graff(as in 3 point perspective). my take on it is that when graffiti first took off the writers werent artists, their priority was the shape of the face of the letters so therefore this didnt cross their mind. with the 3 point perspective, 3d shit...thats what artists are into that usually dont care about the letter structure as much as the correct way to visualize an object. myself, i have an art background and understand the rules of perspective but from the start i was more drawn to the traditional graff...so its not that i dont know about this "glitch", i simply choose to ignore it, in favour of...call it, tradition.
  8. good one! i think banksy is much more politically inclined than that...besides this perfectly illustrates why people in the middle east feel such disgust agasinst westerners. while they risk their lives on daily basis to stand up for the little freedoms they do have, all we can reply with is sexual fantasies!
