it's kings mountain road in woodside. beautiful roads -- shitty people driving cars. +1/-1 in terms of bonking: i find that the meals i eat the day before, along with that day's breakfast, have a lot to do with my performance and ability to push through. that said - i'm all about eggs, potatoes, avocados, broccoli, sprouted bread/bagels and then lot's of slow release sugars for the morning of - like apples and bananas and whatnot. seems to work for my riding/racing schedule.

SO cooked from this weekend. lot's of mixed terrain and lot's of road miles - all with LOTS of climbing. /tired. rubbish - i'll be in town next week, still debating on taking some time off the bike. it's been a while since i've done that. not too sure -- i'll def be in touch.

anyone drink much kolsch? i've been enjoying ballast point's version - though they call it a pale… it's perdy good. the other day i tried the magnolia kolsch and it was like rose water. i'd def drink it again with a meal.

haha i swear - everyone knows him. such a small world sometimes. currently quite excited for a transition into cross. just gotta keep the diet in check since i'm not racking up the road miles.

damn. belgium is def a must do in my near future. that busch brings back memories. we used to gaffle tallboys of those basically everyday. that's when we said 'gaffle' too. oh, the simple times.

that video: i went to spectate rather than race, took some flicks and watched friends race. the footage is the P12 race - they raced sf streets with 5 corners and a slight uphill section for an hour and a half. jelly belly guy broke off with about 6 to go, and STAYED AWAY SOLO. beastly. from the 3's race (where someone also went solo OTF and stayed away for what felt like forever - ended up rolling in just ahead of the pack sprint): field started about 65+ deep in the 3's lot's of people were pulled.

i remember the goliath being tasty when i had a chance to drink too many of them.
