They both love making music and do it for the fans. Plus they support a lot of people through doing shows and tours. Years ago I met an old head used to tour with the band doing various things, he told me he still got hook ups to any shows he wanted to go to anytime just cause he was with them for years. He had one of the craziest laminate collections i've ever seen, really cool dude.
I'm more surprised they do things like 9 shows in 10 days, at one spot and just crush it.

Today
Pay rent, get some new headphones, go take some flicks and bench with a 40oz for a little bit.
Pick up my homie from the airport tonight, roll through to my homies night in the city to catch up with him, grab a bottle of crown and a tank and rage life. Probably through getting some pho in there at some point today.
Saturday
Pick up the rental car, head over to my boys spot to hit the studio, maybe go try to paint this spot if I got time. Gonna hopefully be performing at this party i'm going to saturday night, attempt to stay sober until that point in time so I can actually perform then get fucked up and take lots of pictures the whole time.
Sunday
Breakfast and drinking on the beach for the day.

As far as the legal wall thing goes the only advice I can offer is to check with some local privately funded arts programs and see if they won't support you. Instead of starting with a legal wall see if you can get some art program to fund you. I'd see if they will buy some paint and plywood and give you and your friends a space to paint. Most art private art programs if they have the funding will support you if you come at them right, avoid anything funded by the city since the minute they hear the words graffiti or spray paint it's almost always going to get shot down. I'd try pitching it something along the lines of, hey can we utilize your parking lot on some day when you have nothing going to have a spraypaint exhibition so people can check local artwork.
Also you do know that if you tag cop cars you can rock crowns over your tags and pieces right?

I just picked up almost all of the paperbacks for this

Yeah but not as many did it in the 80's before the big contracts. I understand why dudes do it, they got up to hundreds of millions of reasons why, thats hard to turn down. I dont think the 80s players were doing it as much as these modern players are.
Yeah I agree lee is steady, just kinda surprised me that he had an off game against them. I thought he would have shut them down if anything.
I'm kinda surprised at the year buck is having even if he has cooled off a little bit recently. Hope he keeps it up, it would be a nice surprise. I think the one thing that stands out to me is the year coco crisp is having, when the sox got him years ago this kind of year is what everyone thought he could have. I just hope he isn't juicing playing in the bay area and on the same team as known cheats.
